I think I've hit on the perfect way to express my opinion on this matter: I pledge allegience to the constitution of the United States of America and to the republic over which it presides one nation, under God, indivisible, with liberty and justice for all.

I read part of this thread and couldn't take anymore. It sucked.

Mariotti would not have the gonads to ever write a column like this. The best he can do is throw out vague innuendos about somethings that might have happened in the murky past. Klapish tells who, what, when, why and where. Things that can either be verified or disproven. So Jay, if you see this post, let's see if you got what it takes or are you the coward that Ozzie asserts you are?

Milwaukee Braves

There was a game several years ago at Wrigley with the wind blowing out, that the Phillies won 23-22 or something crazy like that. I believe Mike Schmidt had a monster game that day. I don't recall the details of it though. Schmidt might have hit 4 dingers in that game. Another game where late inning longball heroics came into play was the game Sandburg went deep off of Sutter twice. Once in the 9th and then again in extras, I believe. Don't know about RBI totals there though.

I think you guys bashing Kenny are all wrong here. What Kenny is trying to is PREVENT Ozzie from getting fired. He's not threatening Ozzie.

We, the folks running and maintaining this board, like the fact that we can have fan's of other teams come here and feel comfortable. In fact, a modship has been offered to a fan from a division rival. Treat other teams fans with respect. We don't want that kind of reputation. The official Soxtalk stance is that anyone, regardless of who they root for, is welcome here as long as they are respectful and not trolls. Tigerfan qualifies.

I would have thought it was below the Cardinals to float something like this out there without having something substantial to accompany the allegation.
