  1. QUOTE(KipWellsFan @ Jun 17, 2005 -> 02:04 PM) I just hope in Moore's next movie about health care he doesn't use Canada's system as something the US can strive for. but that article seems to make it seem that Canada's system is worse than America's, here I don't think I agree. http://www.signonsandiego.com/uniontrib/20...1e28gerber.html This isn't worse?
  2. QUOTE(Balta1701 @ Jun 18, 2005 -> 01:33 AM) Yes, 2 times to the Astros during a single double header in 69. Ironic, considering they went on to become world champs.
  3. QUOTE(ScottPodRulez22 @ Jun 17, 2005 -> 11:45 PM) I have never heard of 2 siblings with the same name. Check out what George Foreman name his kids.
  4. I can't sit quietly by anymore. I know you guys are just having some fun, but is an extremely childish thing to do. And once it gets traced back to Soxtalk, it's going to make us all look like a bunch of juvenile morons.
  5. QUOTE(Kalapse @ Jun 17, 2005 -> 03:23 PM) Released by the White Sox That sucks. Just my personal opinion. Not one I want to argue with anyone about.
  6. QUOTE(Rowand44 @ Jun 18, 2005 -> 03:07 AM) There's no doubt and we all know that around here, I just think dbaho is pointing out that is why Mark doesn't necessarily get the pub that the other aces around the league get(correct me if I'm wrong db). DBAH0 wasn't meant to be implicated by my post. Sorry about that.
  7. Contrary to some peoples' beliefs, you don't have to be a big strike out pitcher to win.
  8. QUOTE(witesoxfan @ Jun 18, 2005 -> 02:37 AM) Such a hard question to answer. With everything considered, there is quite honestly no pitcher I'd trade Buehrle for. You trade Buehrle, and you will be crucified by the fan base. When taking out his value as the face of the franchise, names start popping up. Santana, Halladay, Sheets, King Felix, Oswalt, and many others too. When taking out age all together, even more can be included, such as Schilling, Pedro, and again, probably others too. So which point of view are we looking from? Why "take out" anything? Buerhle is what Buerhle is.
  9. I wouldn't trade Buerhle straigh up for any pitcher in baseball.
  10. Thanks y'all. I'll be looking for it.
  11. QUOTE(Soxnbears01 @ Jun 17, 2005 -> 10:45 AM) if he's coming south, you.... get off at the 35th exit, make the left toward the park, make the next left, go down a bit and you'll see a guy waving you in. It's right before 37th i believe. Kentucky 'y'all'. I'll be coming FROM the south.
  12. QUOTE(Steff @ Jun 17, 2005 -> 10:37 AM) I responded to you via PM. For some reason I thought you were flying.. Got it. Thanks. Keep me posted.
  13. QUOTE(Rowand44 @ Jun 17, 2005 -> 10:36 AM) YAS, if you're driving I personally recommend parking at the church. That's where I park for every game I go to. You get out of there so quick after the game's it's unbelievable. The church?
  14. QUOTE(Steff @ Jun 17, 2005 -> 10:35 AM) The only 2 cash lots will be C and G. Are you driving...??? Yes. From Kentucky to the Cell.
  15. QUOTE(Steff @ Jun 17, 2005 -> 10:26 AM) First, do you have a parking pass...??? Steff ... are there any TG plans for that weekend? And the parking pass comment, what's up with that? Can't you just pay to park on the lot?
  16. QUOTE(chi-guy2 @ Jun 17, 2005 -> 10:13 AM) haha i love listening to carl talk, he tells it like it is ... in his world, that is.
  17. QUOTE(LosMediasBlancas @ Jun 17, 2005 -> 10:18 AM) Yep, it's gotta be Carlos 'the crybaby' Zambrano. All he does is lick his fingers and play with his nuts on the hill. He's thinking about his computer, when he does that.
  18. QUOTE(RockRaines @ Jun 17, 2005 -> 09:57 AM) that sure seems like the logical move, s***, Daigle has more bombs that the big leaguers, this guy is insance right now. And if he really wants a real shot at the show, he needs to bear down when he gets moved up and keep it up. He controls his own destiny at this point. It's probably now or never for this guy.
  19. QUOTE(Steff @ Jun 17, 2005 -> 09:54 AM) Right.. because he never moved. Can't make an error if you don't attempt to get to the ball. In not talking about fielding pct. I'm talking about the number of plays he made.
  20. QUOTE(Steff @ Jun 17, 2005 -> 09:43 AM) Correct me if I am wrong.. but Royce rarely moved. Everything within arms shot he got to.. but he was a statue out there was he not..? Check the stats. That's all I can tell you. Iirc, he was in the top 3 his first year with us.
  21. QUOTE(FlaSoxxJim @ Jun 17, 2005 -> 09:32 AM) Note that the wrath is aimed squarely at the land of Governor Terminator though, The "bluest" state in the nation.
  22. We'll just have to keep an eye on them.
  23. QUOTE(Rowand44 @ Jun 17, 2005 -> 09:32 AM) Ya, it's obvious Pauly was asked about the miscues that Royce made and Pauly was defending Royce's defense by saying he's the best defensive shortstop he's played with, I'm sure of it that he was talking about defense and not offense. That's pauly's opinion, I personally disagree cause I do think Juan is a better defensive shortstop because though Royce makes every play at him he doesn't have tremendous range but that's jmo. Royce has more range than people around here ... correction; had more range .... give him credit for. I can't speak for his range today. But when he was with the Sox, he was always in the top of the league in chances.
  24. QUOTE(JimH @ Jun 17, 2005 -> 09:06 AM) What?!?!? True retardedness?? You know! Like some posters show their true retardness sometimes. :rolly
