Look at Baltimore with Davis. I don't believe they are truly negotiating. They are offering the least with a take it or leave it attitude. It only serves to let the gullible fans believe they tried. When was the last time the White Sox won on an in-demand free agent?

People act like they haven't seen this play out before. a.) Surprise team Signs one of them. b.) Second team gets spooked about losing out and pays top $ for second player. c.) A few teams get in bidding war for third player.

I have no doubt that all 3 will be signing elsewhere. Again, the White Sox are acting like they are the only ones with money to spend. They'll get paid by someone else and everyone will be saying it's a good thing to not spend that much money. Then you'll be wondering why they are fighting for 4th place in the division.

Are the Bulls in on Santa Claus? I saw that the Rockets are close to signing him.
