QUOTE (BigSqwert @ Feb 16, 2010 -> 05:07 PM) Is there anything better than a bag of sea salt and cracked pepper potato chips? I think not. I love those jalapeño chips they sell at Subway.

QUOTE (BigSqwert @ Feb 15, 2010 -> 01:28 PM) When you become a frequent traveler your views will change immensely. When I was in college, I flew back and forth about 8-10 times a year. I always liked Southwest more than the others. I had a similar story with Delta because I didn't know they assigned seats. The seat I chose just happened to belong to this hippie-looking, scrawny wiener kid. Instead of pointing out to me that I was in his seat, or even politely asking me to move, he went right to a flight attendant and had them come over to kick me out. When I was moving I pointed out that I was unaware the seats were assigned, he muttered a smart ass comment. Every time I think of it, I wish I could run into that bastard again.

QUOTE (bmags @ Feb 15, 2010 -> 01:04 AM) I don't think "scary" entered a single review of let the right one in I'd ever said or seen. I think the setting of Sweden did loads for the eeriness, the blood on the snow and the cold in general. A ton of reviews called it "one of the top ___ horror films in the last ___ years."

I just watched Let The Right One In. While I liked it, I was expecting a scarier movie. I could swear I have seen people say it was one of the scarier recent movies.

QUOTE (Thunderbolt @ Feb 10, 2010 -> 08:58 AM) COLLEGE SNOW DAY!!! And it hasn't even snowed at all yet here, god bless the feeling of impending doom. I start today at my usual lunch hour. It's no snow day, but a half day ain't bad.

Earthquake NE of Dekalb
It was weird. I got up at about 3:30 to, um, take care of some business, if you know what I mean. And I couldn't fall back asleep for a while, so I was up when it happened. I was so tired that I didn't think twice about it and fell back asleep, though.

QUOTE (RockRaines @ Feb 9, 2010 -> 03:07 PM) Because to the casual observer who doesnt know thats its a representation of the actual Jersey Luis would have worn, It'll look like I'm a big Vizquel fan, and that makes me angry. Why do you care to impress a casual fan who you probably wouldn't have talked to anyway?

Official Squared Circle Thread
QUOTE (KyYlE23 @ Feb 9, 2010 -> 07:40 AM) I thought last nights RAW was top notch. From the first match with Christian and Sheamus all the way until Hart came out and pounded on McMahon for a little while, there was actually storylines moving along and interesting things happening throughout the show. I like that DX lost the straps to ShowMiz, and now we have grumpy Shawn Michaels again and DX starting to break up, so he will be doing more fun things like Superkicking Teddy Long. Hart just doesnt have the coordination anymore, when he was breaking things and he pulled out the metal box and fell over I felt bad for him. I've never felt worse for a wrestler than when they brought back Vader a few years ago. He was incredibly out of shape (even for him), screwed up a bunch of times, and even fell while exiting the ring. You could tell he was pissed at himself when that last thing happened. I couldn't even laugh because it was that embarrassing.

I just don't know who is.

Morally ambiguous characters
QUOTE (Thunderbolt @ Feb 8, 2010 -> 08:23 PM) I like that a lot. Ozymandias would make a hell of a case study. And so would Comedian (and Rorschach to a lesser extent, IMO). That book/movie would be a great topic for discussion on moral ambiguity.

Morally ambiguous characters
QUOTE (bmags @ Feb 8, 2010 -> 08:21 PM) Are Dexters morals really ambiguous though? He has a code that he describes in detail. He gets rid of bad people, which is a good thing. But, he does so by killing them. That can make for good discussion.

Morally ambiguous characters
How about reading or watching Watchmen? There are at least three characters that would make for good conversation (Ozymandias, Comedian, and Rorschach).

Morally ambiguous characters
QUOTE (FlaSoxxJim @ Feb 8, 2010 -> 04:49 PM) Frank Castle/Punisher I think he's the definition of moral ambiguity in pop culture. Ooh, that's a very good one. I was going to say Tony Soprano or Dexter Morgan, but both have been added already.
