Just got back from 3:10 To Yuma. I guess it was a good movie, but I left feeling sort of confused with Crowe's character's actions at the end.

The biggest comeback in White Sox history

QUOTE(Kalapse @ Sep 8, 2007 -> 01:33 PM) That would be #1 on my list. 2 HR from Pauly after being hit in the head by a Kerry Wood fastball, such sweet revenge. It also produced the coolest bat flip in White Sox history when Konerko deposited his 2nd homerun into the left field stands. Someone needs to find that avatar of the bat flip with "KONERKOWNED" on it, and then they need to use it for their avatar for a while. I'd use it, but I just can't change mine. -

I think it's safe to say that Shaq's ex-wife is going to be useless to every other guy on Earth. I'm talking pencil and hallway type stuff here.

Wow, I honestly downloaded a song by him just the other day (Tuesday, I believe). RIP...

I'm willing to bet that most of his spending is on extremely expensive and flashy robes. -

I've been saying we should trade Konerko for a few months. It makes a lot of sense. -
QUOTE(knightni @ Sep 2, 2007 -> 06:31 PM) One of the most shocking scenes in TV history. http://www.tv-links.co.uk/video/1/2075/3706/24547/38363 Warning - in the words of the Saw guy, "Oh, there will be blood." The link doesn't open to a video clip for me. What is it?

I'll never hear the end of this.

QUOTE(winninguglyin83 @ Aug 31, 2007 -> 08:50 AM) So many problems, so few options. Koneerko may have to go. he's one of the few guys with value. He's reached a point in his career where his numbers will probably decline. You can find a stop gap first baseman for a lot less. Who else can we trade that has value? AJ? Not unless the Giants take another dumb pill. Fields? Our farm system is killing us. Ever since I noticed the names in the 1B department hitting free agency this offseason, I've wanted to trade Konerko. The best FA 1B this offseason is Shea Hillenbrand. Someone would pay a lot for Pauly.

I just tried for about 10 minutes to find a picture of a shirtless Piper from Cyber Sunday 2006, but I can't. -

QUOTE(SoxFan562004 @ Aug 31, 2007 -> 07:10 AM) along the same lines, when Austin came back after the neck surgery lay-off he did a run in and had an enormous beer gut and had trouble rolling in the ring. (I know, it was a serious surgery and not easy to bounce back from, but visual was still funny) Also, the debut of "The Shockmaster" which was, I believe, Tugboat Thomas in a spraypainted Stormtrooper helmet. WCW set up a big dramatic thing to introduce him, he bursts through the gimmicked wall, trips and falls and his helmet falls off. I think Ventura was doing commentary and was laughing his ass off I believe everyone was laughing their ass off at that one, including Sid, who was taking part in the interview. One of the most hilarious sights was Roddy Piper winning the Tag belts with Flair. For some reason, they allowed him to wrestle without a shirt. It was absolute gold. The crowd loved it, and I think even Piper had fun with it. He was terribly out of shape. The next day on Raw, he wrestled in a shirt. I think he was forced to do so. -
It's a stretch to say that Harang was robbed last year, but it's LAUGHABLE to say that he'd be robbed this year if he didn't get the Cy Young. Hell, there's two guys on the Padres alone that deserve it more than he does.

Padres. Teams with former Cub players usually do well pretty well in these situations. And the first guy to pop out at me was Greg Maddux.

That list would equate to about 1/3 of the baseball all-star team being suspended. And back to the botched moves, does anyone remember when they tried to bring back Vader and Goldust? Vader was leaving the ring and he fell flat on his face. On top of that, he was enormous (even moreso than he was in his prime). I felt terrible for him. -
QUOTE(sox4lifeinPA @ Aug 29, 2007 -> 09:48 AM) But will this student be treated accordingly by his peers? or will he/she be labeled a rat? He or she didn't snitch on someone for smoking weed in the parking lot. He or she is, I assume, also not in the mafia. There will be no labels.

QUOTE(Jim Spencer @ Aug 28, 2007 -> 03:09 PM) I gave up looking at the standings about a month ago. For some reason I looked today and I knew we were terrible, but I didn't realize there are only 2 teams in MLB with a record worst then us Aw, I thought we had the second-worst record? Who passed us?

QUOTE(Vance Law @ Aug 28, 2007 -> 07:48 PM) Granted. And that idea sounds good on paper at first look. But if you think about it a little more, having no shortstop out there would leave a pretty big hole on the left side of the infield. It would be as if you were playing with one less player, and I could see a lot of ground balls getting through right there. Also, then, when the SS is supposed to bat, there would be no one there. You're probably looking a high strikeout rate with not a batter, even if he's hitting 9th. Ha, classic. -

QUOTE(CWSGuy406 @ Aug 28, 2007 -> 09:11 AM) Before September, somebody needs to teach me how to properly say his name. I've been calling him "Berj-wah-zee", almost like the French class of people. I don't think that's correct. For it to be pronounced that way, it'd have to be spelled as bourgeoisie. -

Very tired of Cena. -
A little while ago, I ordered all 6 seasons of the Sopranos (minus the second half of 6, of course) in a box set. Well, it came today. I DID plan on going out tonight or something, but that's all changed now.

I heard that they plan on moving CM Punk to Smackdown within the coming months in order for him to compete for a more glorified belt.
