  1. No, actually that makes some sense Dusty, avoiding the big hitter when the count is not in your favor. That's not what Tony did

No we aren't, and that's why it's gone. There are other forums outside of Soxtalk for political talk, you can find them I'm sure
  3. It's not necessary to go 15-5, that's a bit dramatic. Nobody in October is going to be like "if they only went 15-5 in July and showed they were a good team...." how the team is playing in September is what matters to me, of course with the caveat of being in playoff contention
  4. Everything is awesome. Everything is cool where you're part of the team.
  5. It looks like he is pulling the ball down and to the left from the centerfield camera, and unless his release is perfect the ball does not go where he wants
  6. Gios delivery mechanic is not right and has not been right for a long time
  7. I say let's see that stance for more than a month before we can complain about it
  8. He isn't hitting anyone this season and most of last season and that is pretty concerning considering the firepower surrounding him in that lineup and the park he plays in. He should be feasting and he is anything but. I'm not hoping for them to trade for a LH bat so I can say he has a good glove
  9. God I hope Gallo washes out of the league so I never have to see someone want his worthless ass on the Sox again
  10. I dunno I don't keep track of those things. Not important
  11. Hey I always know when I read your threads I will learn something I didn't need to know
  12. Man I'm glad I found out that the guardians like playing in dodger stadium and all about that tv contract
  13. Tray can drive him there

West Chicago is a pretty decent sized town with a lot of neighborhoods, which one are we talking about here? I have friends that live in that town and they are in a very nice area near Prince Crossing road, I went to high school in west Chicago for my freshman year and went to middle school at Benjamin in west Chicago and the area was pretty nice around my middle school also. what I am roundabout getting at is these anecdotal fear posts about where people live and the crime that is happening in those places suck. Illinois isn't some icky pool of crime, Greg. People aren't getting carjacked every ten seconds and your weird obsession with it from way out in Kansas is super strange
  16. It very well could have been the sticky stuff. I thought mlb was going to be allowing them to use an approved version of that this season, which wasn't as adhesive as the spidertack but moreso than rosin
  17. Cool, I just want to make sure it's ok with you if I also complain about the manager being inept
  18. Bill Simmons tears in the morning ?
  19. Detroit looks really rough but what they have on the field wasn't the plan. They wanted their young rotation to grow together and instead they all got injured together
  20. Shocking to us all
  21. Why be mad at everyone who holds this team to a higher standard? These are bullshit results, we all know this team is better than this. How good? Not totally sure, but this is not what anyone expected. Getting mad at other fans is a waste of your energy when the manager is quite literally losing games for them with bad decisions
