Im glad to see his average had crawled up to over 300. I think that makes him more of a MVP contender.

I really liked the part of the interview where Hawk was talking about Ozzie. t was interesting to here him say how great it is that Ozzie will always take the blame for his coaching staff no matter what the problem is. He also says that on road trips all the coaches are real laid back and laughing. I think it shows a lot about Ozzies team pride and his knowledge of teamwork and unity.

It would be great to start this series off with a win. We need to switch momentum right now and a win would completely do that I think. If we could manage 2 of 3 or god forbid a sweep they might say the Sox are the best team in baseball at least for another week. GO SOX!

That sucks. I was excited about seeing what JR could do. I think he had potential to be good and he was still so young and hasnt reached his full potential. I dont understand some of these trades.

Im in Rally Crede in '08

Right now its the Tigers. They seem to be the real deal and now they have a decent lead on us. We need to buckle down and gain some ground on them. Im glad we have a bunch of games left with them because I think we are better then them heads up. The Twins would be second. They might become contenders again soon.

Im looking forward to leaving New York and regrouping and seeing what KW is gonna come up with. There are so many rumors Im sure something is gonna happen soon.

Sounds good to me but does it really make sense for Philly. That would be exactly what we needed. Talk about a feared line up.

If there was anyway we could pull the trigger on this and keep bmac I think it would be good. We are built to win this year and need something for the stretch to be different. McCarthy should be untouchable though.

Id rather him give up 44 runs in one game then 4 runs over 11 games

Doesnt sound like theres much out there worth what we would have to give up. I really dont want to give up any of our good prospects for a rent a relief pitcher for the rest of the year. Id rather see a bigger package for someone whoreally fits and we can really benefit from. I wouldnt mind at all seeing Garcia or Vasquez packaged with a minor leaguer or even BA if we could get the right player.

It shard to tell. The starters are getting rocked though and I especially hate to see this against the Yankees. This is rediculous. Its days like this that make me wonder if we do need to try to get someone like Schmidtt.

I hate having to make the comparison between Hawk and Harry Caray but its the closest thing I can think of. Hawk might be a homer but he still does have an idea of whats going on in the game and has knowledge. I can recall hearing Harry shoot off the most insane stats that werent even close to the truth. I dont mind hearinghomers announce. I suppose I could see how it would get annoying being a fan of the opponent and having to watch it.
