QUOTE (LittleHurt05 @ May 30, 2014 -> 08:44 PM) Every time the Kings score f***ing Seabrook is standing there. He was the first one back and didn't even put his stick on the ice.

QUOTE (Jake @ May 28, 2014 -> 08:35 PM) In the past two series our D has looked like the clear issue with the team, exacerbated by a goalie that rarely saves a bad defensive play from turning into a goal (last couple games in MIN series excepted) There's no question. Seabrook especially looks asleep. No one is playing a body near the net.

QUOTE (caulfield12 @ May 24, 2014 -> 10:16 PM) So you're saying we shouldn't care because society has become completely anesthetized by the ubiquitous nature of these types of events? If anything, that only causes the perpetrators to be more creative and vicious in their attempts to break out of the random noise and grab the headlines, like the suburban Denver movie theatre killer. That's an old way of looking at these events that isn't supported by psychologists. Seems to be a media created motive because mental health experts really don't have an answer.

Hawks 0-4 when not scoring first. Wild 5-1 when scoring first.

QUOTE (LittleHurt05 @ May 9, 2014 -> 11:00 PM) Duncan Keith is having an awful game. He looks like he's skating in sand.
-
Apparently the hawks aren't interested in defense at all. Out hit and out shot.

Crawford with 2 softies. And are Toews and Kane suddenly not on the same line this period?

QUOTE (bmags @ Apr 20, 2014 -> 12:41 PM) Made homemade limoncello and am sipping it on ice in the sun.good day. I just got back from Italy and was looking to make some. What was your recipe?

QUOTE (RockRaines @ Mar 27, 2014 -> 07:16 PM) How's your progress? Any advice? Given that you've done other programs you probably have a good bead on what to do. I've not followed the diet plan but I wasn't worried about weight. I've dropped an inch in my waist but I'm a 31". My endurance is way better and my abs and legs are in the best shape they've ever been in. I'm hoping to get good results in my arms and chest from gamma. I've always struggled to gain muscle so we will see what happens. I think doing the double days is key and doing the workouts consecutively rather than just 2 in a day. If you miss a day just add a double day. What I love is that you can really shorten the week if you get busy at work or something and just do more double. I've had much better luck sticking with it because of the flexibility.

QUOTE (RockRaines @ Mar 12, 2014 -> 10:54 AM) So far T25 has been a breath of fresh air after phase 1 of P90X3. I really wanted more cardio instead of weights and I definitely got it. You know you got a great workout when your legs are dripping sweat. I just started gamma. It's been an awesome workout. I've never done weight work that is so intense, but this is the first time I've ever stuck with any workout for 2-3 months.

QUOTE (southsider2k5 @ Mar 18, 2014 -> 12:32 PM) Theory from a pilots point of view. http://www.wired.com/autopia/2014/03/mh370-electrical-fire/ In case anyone didn't know, there is a reddit thread on this article. What I don't get is what happened to the passengers? If smoke is filling the cabin, don't people pull out phones and make calls or texts? I doubt this entire sequence could happen so fast that everyone was dead before they could attempt a call.

QUOTE (IlliniKrush @ Feb 27, 2014 -> 10:35 PM) Wait, the article only says gift, if you know exactly what it was...hmm One of the tags for the article is "vibrator."

QUOTE (KyYlE23 @ Jan 17, 2014 -> 10:59 AM) Sure he does, he did the same thing with Peavy. Swung and missed on the first attempt to trade for him, and told the press "we will revisit this later", and then got him a few months later I don't see how that's "the same thing."

KW never talks like this about a guy he is going to sign or acquire. It just doesn't happen. I think it possible that there's a trade possibility we haven't heard about and he is using Tanaka as a smoke screen. There's just no benefit to talking about it like he has and it isn't his MO.

They also host baseball camps all summer so the place is teeming with people from NYC. Finding a place to stay won't be easy and actually seeing anything will be even harder. Still cool though. Make the trip to ommegang if you go.

QUOTE (RockRaines @ Jan 7, 2014 -> 12:47 PM) Damn. Going to investigate the stack now. Found the access panel to the main valve shut off which is good Pipes normally burst between the freeze and the faucet due to water pressure, not ice pressure. If the faucets are open they probably won't burst, but I don't know the condition of the pipes in an old house. Regardless, you should get some one to open the wall and make sure the pipe is insulated to prevent this from happening again. Yeah it's expensive, but worth it.

QUOTE (RockRaines @ Jan 6, 2014 -> 06:25 PM) We also used to pour hot water on the engine block when in the UP. Not sure it did anything. My hot water in my kitchen froze today but thats the only water that isnt working. Really weird. My main line froze this morning. Turned out we had rodent damage to the exterior wall that caused cold air to poor over the pipe all night and freeze. Thawed it this morning (went to work!) blocked the holes for now and insulated the pipe.

QUOTE (scs787 @ Jan 6, 2014 -> 02:12 PM) It tries to start, doesn't click. Does your insurance have roadside? People seem to forget they have it...

I'm going to work. Apparently some of our grocery stores are closing early tomorrow. I don't know that I've ever seen that even in bad snow storms.

QUOTE (greg775 @ Jan 4, 2014 -> 09:32 PM) Some lady talked me into getting an Am Express/Delta sky miles card at the airport. I was in a weak moment where I had 3 hours between flights and she trapped me. Before I knew what I was doing I was signing up for the fricking card. I got the card in the mail and don't want the card. It's free the first year then 50 bucks the following year. Should I cancel it or just never activate the card?? Thank u. That's actually a credit score issue. You've opened the line of credit and closing it will only hurt. BUT the impact may be negligible and might recover quickly since it wouldn't impact you length of credit history. If you aren't making any major purchases that require your score to be at a certain level any time in the next 6 months, then probably close it. First thing to do is check your credit score and see if it is helping your score. If so, you may want to keep it.

QUOTE (Jenksismyb**** @ Dec 29, 2013 -> 09:01 PM) Let's not forget too that another franchise was willing to trade the guy, despite his elite talent. Are those people employed?

Why punt?

QUOTE (pettie4sox @ Dec 22, 2013 -> 09:05 PM) Are the Eagles that good or the Bears that bad?!??!?! lol If the eagles were so great they should be walking away from the Cowboys and the division.

So...honestly, when do the Bears pull their starters?
