Me too. Funny how that works.

Interest doesn't mean offers. And it sure doesn't mean good offers. Unless you can prove the offers were decent, I am going to assume they aren't considering the number of players we have moved in the last year +.

And to continue that narrative, will continue to ignore positives in the developmental team by adding more qualifiers so as to disqualify any success stories.

Herm can't even keep the coaches healthy.

What offers were out there?

So most of development happened at the major league level, after he wasn't good enough to get out of the low minors with the Yankees.

Blame Hermie.

He got to A ball with the Yankees.

I guess at worst he got to hit for 3.5 months and really did seem to hold over his gains and continue to cut his K rate. It was a better scenario than what we originally thought which was to miss this entire year. If he ends up on the short end of recovery, he might be back for opening day. If not, the far end is the middle of May, so he shouldn't miss a lot of next year.

Then the idea of rebuilding with a franchise that can't develop young position players really did prove to be an incredibly dumb idea.

One more for you @Heads22. We just had this kid move in from Iowa. Seems like he was the 14th highest rated HS QB in Iowa last year. You heard of him? I guess his older brother is up at Michigan State. http://www.maxpreps.com/athlete/beau-lombardi/vP1LrmhLEeiAyNdjx8XCRA/default.htm

We'd still have Yolmer and Leury for today, and Madrigal on the horizon. This is an interesting theory.

Moncada at Coors Field? Insane.

This was pretty much the consensus opinion, and that hasn't really changed. The rest are wings on the bellcurve.

Awesome work as always to the whole FutureSox team!

Hey @Heads22 enjoy Zoran Talley. He's from my neck of the woods. Nice player if he can stay out of trouble.

Your reading skills are about as solid as Palka in RF then.

So what you are saying is that Moncada could be about as good as Barry Bonds on steroids at this point of his career? I am good with that.
