  1. Good point. I did leave out LH SP. We do seem to do extremely well there historically, though now we seem to be a frightening TJS stage, so let's put an asterisk on that one.
  2. So we are back to the theory that player development can only develop the exact right players, and so far, we haven't exactly found who those players are, because our development has been non-existent. Got it.
  3. Weird that player development is missing here. Who was that again?
  4. Boy that is two completely different posts. Almost like the first one was an intentional. Remind me of something a poster once said...
  5. Your lie about having MNPI you are putting on a message board, or the near-universally held belief amongst MLB fans that this stadium is considered one of the worst in baseball?
  6. The Sox locked into a bad location in one of the worst rated stadiums in baseball would be a win for the Sox. I won't even touch on your pretending to have inside information to a set of negotiations which you aren't privy to.
  7. I love how many of the jerseys are long retired guys who will never wear these.
  8. We are all Mac inside.
  9. I doubt they do anything until three big things happen. - They get a TV contract in place. This is probably a 50/60 million dollar revenue hole from last year, which still isn't counting attendance, other advertising, merchandise, parking, and everything else that has plummeted by huge numbers. Last year was their worse season since their 2nd to last year in old Comiskey. This year is 8% worse PLUS the non-existent TV money. -They have time to make up some of the recent missing revenue from said contract, plus the years of straight listed losses. -They have a team worth adding to.
  10. Duh? Why do you think alternative jerseys exist in the 1st place?
  11. WON'T SOMEONE THINK OF THE PARKING??? HOW WILL SOX FANS GET TO GAMES???
  12. Like I have been saying for months, the most likely scenario is clear. Jerry does the s%*# kicking, Ishbia keeps clean, win/win. Dude has his succession plan in place
  13. Well if this was the case for the Sox it makes a ton of sense because they have yet to find players they seem to be able to work with as they have failed with highly ranked prospects, highly drafted prospects, top rated international prospects, and everything else down the line. It must be why they have an affinity for older utility guys, but not raw or flawed prospects.
  14. * limited by your space on your credit card.
  15. The Southside jerseys are a GOAT.
  16. It's the good ones that are valuable
  17. Injuries, plus a slight frame. Not surprised.
  18. Not a huge fan of the White, but I will break my spending embargo for the red and black.
  19. It's the difference between a guy who will most likely suck, but has six years of control if he doesn't, and a guy who has historically sucked, and has no control even if he doesn't suck again. This seems obvious to me, but I guess not.
  20. There it is. A successful magician is a master of distraction. Too bad that isn't the case here.
  21. Considering he could have just been had for a waiver claim, that would be an incredibly quick fall from grace.
  22. I could be wildly wrong, but I bet it isn't nearly as much as we would suspect it would be. The price of on air talent for non-premium guys isn't pretty.
  23. we are definitely in the stick times, and we are all getting beaten with it as Sox fans.
