  1. This is an awful take. Dude had a LONG injury history going back to the year they signed him. He also was coming off a a huge break out year. Even if you take a bit less then, was it worth betting on his health if we knew this team was going to be awful? Well, ask yourself what he is worth now.
  2. If he KNEW this was a long rebuild, it's a gigantic mistake, knowing the injury history he had even pre23, plus a career year. If he held on because of "value" he hit on a 19.
  3. Leave it to the Sox to breath life into the Os
  4. We were on a pretty good upswing before he got here. Once he got here it was good for the first half of the first season, but even then it was fraying.
  5. The return of Tony was the beginning of the end
  6. Mayo is an asshole. He should be ejected. That was all him.
  7. The way he is running? I doubt it.
  8. The one thing I will add to this on the Boston side is the extention, which was not cheap.
  9. Sosa, who was buried in AAA behind old utility vets and didn't play until they had no choice?
  10. And we continue to be the dumbest team in baseball
  11. He's got to be in his 30s, first.
  12. Beavis almost came out today.
  13. Well the Sox have said there is only one guy making decisions.
  14. It would make a ton of sense why so many of the same things keep happening.
  15. Especially since we have had a bunch of high end arms and Katz/Bannister are supposed to be wonderkins. But also this 32 year old homeless vet is who we are going to play over those guys. We have to wait, but also we aren't going to give the older kids a chance.
  16. Exactly. Welcome to the Loop, where nothing is the fault of Chris Getz, and all belongs to Rick Hahn.
  17. Which is exactly why EVERYONE involved should have been fired. They were all incompetent.
  18. Literally everything that is wrong, you blame on Hahn, but you aren't blaming him. Got it.
  19. Yep, you've taken us on this endless loop of it's all Rick Hahn's fault before. If I wanted to crash out in the loop, I would visit Chicago.
  20. Such a great trend, we need homeless players because we don't trust the pitching dev at AAA.
  21. But also the FUTURE IS GREAT!
  22. Not trading him after 23 and not taking the Reds offer are two big strikes.
  23. Player Development is going great! But also, we don't trust any of the kids to play until we absolutely have to, and will invent roadblocks to ensure it.
