  1. QUOTE (Athomeboy_2000 @ Jun 20, 2008 -> 10:37 AM) They've basically been reduced to a small money fund raiser at best. History dictates that the attack organizations regroup and reform in another way. They always do. Especially with a guy like George Soros behind the scenes, they probably don't even need the money anyway.

I want to see Get Smart for no other reason than I couldn't think of a better 99 than Steve Carrell. He is the originals guys twin or something.
  3. Now I really want a John Danks jersey!
  4. QUOTE (lostfan @ Jun 20, 2008 -> 09:52 AM) Seriously why do you guys pay any attention to Mariotti? At all? This bears repeating.
  5. QUOTE (chw42 @ Jun 20, 2008 -> 09:03 AM) I really hope he gets fired from the SunTimes, but it isn't gonna happen. Even after this whole Marioti vs. Telander feud. He recently got a 3 year contract extention.
  6. QUOTE (Athomeboy_2000 @ Jun 20, 2008 -> 10:20 AM) Chew on This.. MoveOn To Close Its 527 In Response To Obama's Candidacy But not after getting its baby killer ad out there... And if you really think this means it is going away, you are sadly mistaken. They will find another form. They always do.
  7. QUOTE (IlliniKrush @ Jun 20, 2008 -> 09:29 AM) The double letters (like 6-7 rows) are in front of the single letters Cool. Thanks man!
  8. QUOTE (bmags @ Jun 20, 2008 -> 09:00 AM) Al Gore wouldn't be VP. He's so much bigger now that he's out of politics. He doesn't want the warm bucket of spit. The idea of a subservient quiet VP is pretty much dead. Anymore you are looking at a Co-President.
  9. For those familiar with All State arena how does their seat numbering work? Are the double letters, such as BB in front of single letters, such as A, or is it the other way around? For the half arena concert formation would tickets in sec 101 BB or sec 115 A be better seats? Thanks
  10. Didn't the Cubs play a one game playoff to get into the playoffs in 1998? To me that would be the biggest series. This series is fun and all, but you have to pick a September series where the playoffs are on the line for the biggest.
  11. QUOTE (WhiteSoxfan1986 @ Jun 19, 2008 -> 03:05 PM) And Crede and his .260 career average and .309 obp isn't an all or nothing guy? Fields doesn't have the glove or the ability to adjust that Crede has. Crede also isn't going to strike out 150 times, which is the epitome of an all or nothing guy.
  12. QUOTE (RibbieRubarb @ Jun 20, 2008 -> 07:52 AM) So I guess your virginity pact with your father was an unspoken one? Btw, nice job finally breaking it... I figured I didn't want to be the Part 2 of the 40 Year Old Virgin
  13. QUOTE (RibbieRubarb @ Jun 20, 2008 -> 07:36 AM) Pregancy Pacts with Freinds...Virginity Pacts with fathers... How about "Finish School and Go to College" pacts?!? Or the "Finish f***ing High School and Go to f***ing College or I will kick your ass" pact my dad made with me...
  14. Its a serial expiration and quadruple witching day in the markets, and no one gives a s*** because all anyone can talk about is the Cubs Sox series. There is just a buzz in the air like no one's business. For people who don't live or work in Chicago and don't understand the rivalry between fans, they need to experience this day just once.
  15. Brandon has made the Carolina League All-Star team. He is hitting .281 with 12 homers and 37 RBI, 24 walks and 69 strikeouts in 242 ABs. He has a .353 OBP, .545 SLG, and .899 OPS.
  16. Hopefully the Sox aren't exhausted from the long trip to get to Wrigley!
  17. QUOTE (IlliniKrush @ Jun 19, 2008 -> 10:48 PM) http://tsn.ca/nhl/story/?id=241180&lid...s=headlines_nhl A well deserved shot for Johnny. I wish him the best, that's for sure. He has proven everything he can at that level. Hopefully he does well.
  18. QUOTE (kapkomet @ Jun 19, 2008 -> 03:59 PM) It's certainly a wake up call (literally) to have teenagers have to watch a baby for a week. That certainly hits the point home. I actually saw a reality show that might be interesting where they give babies to teenagers and film the hilarity. To me that is better birth control than any condom or pill could ever be.
  19. Has a team ever been up by and down by 6 runs in the same game?
  20. QUOTE (GoSox05 @ Jun 19, 2008 -> 03:00 PM) A lot of balks this year. Ramirez has drawn two in this series.
  21. QUOTE (southsider2k5 @ Jun 19, 2008 -> 02:59 PM) And Brian takes care of that... Bah. Wrong hitter.
  22. QUOTE (southsider2k5 @ Jun 19, 2008 -> 02:48 PM) Brian Anderson is the only guy in the line up without a hit, and we are just now going into the sixth inning. And Brian takes care of that...
  23. Brian Anderson is the only guy in the line up without a hit, and we are just now going into the sixth inning.
  24. QUOTE (soxfan3530 @ Jun 19, 2008 -> 02:33 PM) From a story on Yahoo! I would like to look at bay and nady as well for the right price. I know we have had the bay rumor before, but he has been a good player again this year. A flooded market would be key for the Sox, because it would push the prices of these players down. Hopefully this is true.
