I know he missed a lot of the season, but Norge Vera is putting up really good numbers in Kanny in his first state side experience as well. Also can't go without mentioning Loidell Chapelli.
Also a lot more interesting breakouts in the low minors than I remember seeing before, and not random old 4A bat type breakouts that were obviously meaningless like we used to get excited about.
It's really nice to see guys like AJ, Yoan, and Yaz getting back to an OK level of hitting. Even that little bit of a difference makes a huge difference in the offense.
Look, I might not be Jack level of depressed with this team, but if winning a lot of baseball games is an option, that is always the choice for me. A bad playoff series is better than missing the playoffs any day.
