  1. Good question. Even as a registered Republician, if the Democrats had put a canditate out there that gave me reason to believe in him, instead of fearing Bush, I would have voted for him. I honestly believe that was Kerry's downfall. Heck look no further than Bill Clinton dispite everything he did, everyone still believed in him.
  2. Good post Spiffy. Outside of a couple silly things, this might be the longest thread in Soxtalk history, that didn't involve either a game thread or one ugly arguement. You guys were awesome
  3. All you HAVE to do is to register for selective services. You don't have to register for anything else. What they are telling you is BS.
  4. I have a ton of respect for you. Seriously. If our political system handled itself with half the class that you have, we wouldn't have near the amount of BS that exsists today.
  5. Oregon goes to Kerry. Once again, no surprise.
  6. All righty guys, I have to get some sleep. Good night all.
  7. He has actually said he would add two active divisions to the ten that currently exsist. Which the thing that blew my mind is the rumors that Bush would reinstitute the draft, when he isn't even the one talking about adding troops.
  8. So as of now MSNBC has it as 207-199 for Bush. Add in FL and OH, and that makes it 254 for Bush. That means he would only need 16 EVs to wrap things up.
  9. Melissa Bean is projected to beat Phil Crane in IL.
  10. http://www.cnn.com/ELECTION/2004/pages/res....000.html#39035 52% according to CNN which still has Bush up by 4% or 130,000 votes with 68% of the states precincts reporting.
  11. There have been very little reports of fraud in FL. Everything I have heard is that the big problems have been in Ohio and PA. The only big thing is FL is that absentee ballots in Miami might not be counted until Thursday or Friday, which would only help Bush.
  12. If Bush does indeed get FL and OH that gives him 250 EVs. That means all he needs is 20 votes out of NM, NV, IA, MN, WI, MI, AZ, OR, NH, MT, WA, CO.
  13. Yawn. He is in big trouble in Ohio. He needed big votes in the urban districts, and he hasn't gotten them. Kerry is in trouble.
  14. I already told you, Obama.
  15. MSNBC just said the samething. If Bush hangs on in Ohio, Kerry needs a plains states miracle.
  16. Florida is going to be Bush. It is all about Ohio right now.
  17. Bush leads Florida by about 350,000 votes. Most of the predominantly democratic districts are in. Even those that are out, Kerry isn't going to have enough steam to close that big of a gap. Right now every is scared to call it, but really it looks very GWB.
  18. that is right in line with what Gore got in Cuhyahoga county in 2000. Actually that is not good for Kerry, as he need a huge number to overcome the rural vote in OH.
  19. No problem. I am full of useless info
  20. King county is still out, which is Seattle. That will be overwealmingly Kerry. Washington will go to Kerry.
  21. Even before today, the guy who won 2 of FL, PA, OH won the election.
  22. Florida has Bush with a 300,000 vote lead with 94% of the vote in.
  23. Keyes giving his "I suck" speech.
  24. No kidding. Looks like my bet on Ohio being the most f***ed up was pretty solid.
