  1. 6? LMAO, not even close. He has had at least 20 names just here. He tried a whole bunch more at FutureSox when ST was down.
  2. It is amazing how much security has gone up at the train stations since March 11th. It is night and day.

  9. If you have some time, here is a good, but long write up about the situation. It isn't up to the minute, but is good backround info. http://www.globalissues.org/Geopolitics/Chechnya.asp
  10. Really there is only one side with power, and that is Russia. The state governments are puppets of Russia, climaxing with the Kremlin basically handpicking the next Presidnet, and then fixing the election to make sure that he got elected. But yeah the ordinary people there are pretty much stuck between a rock and a hard place.
  11. I wonder who paid for this survey? http://www.cnn.com/2004/HEALTH/09/14/older...s.ap/index.html

  13. The Chechens want a free independant county. There is a big Islamic movement within Chechnya that wants to form an Islamic Republic. Putin is the one who is looking to remake mother Russia.
  14. New projected pathes are much further west. According to one of the models New Orleans could sustain a direct hit
  15. Oakland was also the stadium where someone through a cell phone out of the upper deck at a player, right?
  16. Timo is great at the plate in clutch situations. But the guy is lazy and inattentive. If it isn't a pressure situation, or a routine play in the OF, he doesn't care. That bothers me. I have seen him turn singles into doubles, and doubles into triples on enough occasions while he was playing the OF to convince me that I never wanted to see him out there again.
  17. If that's the case, we might as well resign Maggs...
  18. The Art of Spamming 101 (first lesson, see above post sequence)
  19. That reminds me of the South Park episode with Big Gay Al's Big Gay Boat Ride. "And this is a gay lion, roar"
  20. Spiff, did you ever know that your my hero?
  21. And after reading Putin's idea's for how to fix the Russians problems, I could believe this was all conspiracy. The guy is practically pulling a Blues Brothers and putting the band back together... except he is putting the USSR back togther. I highly recommend people read up on Putin's proposals and read between the lines.
  22. Or he could have a season like 5 out of his last 6. 2003 was a fluke. http://sports.espn.go.com/mlb/players/stats?statsId=5908
  23. The free agent shortstop pool includes Edgar Renteria, Nomar, Orlando Cabrera, Jose Valentin, Omar Vizquel, Pokey Reese and likely Julio Lugo and Cristian Guzman. Those potentially in the market include the Cardinals (if they don't sign Renteria), White Sox, Cubs (depending on Garciaparra), Giants, Diamondbacks, Red Sox (depending on Cabrera and/or Reese), Rangers and the Washington Lobbyists. "It's an interesting market," one GM said. "But where last year you had Miguel Tejada being bid on by the Orioles, Tigers and Mariners, there are enough market options that it's unlikely any of those shortstops will get Tejada money."
  24. Did they ever say if he did rebreak his shoulder for good?
