  1. I used to like you.
  2. Soto confirmed.
  3. Haven't been able to since Pre-COVID.
  4. Since he apparently had altitude sickness.
  5. Glad to hear this. Not sure why he needs a rehab assignment after this, but sure.
  6. I will allow it.
  7. Ok, that makes a bit more sense.
  8. Compared Rodriquez to Soto? Are we talking about Popeye here? Because if so, lmfao.
  9. I don't know where you disconnected from reality at, but none of this is reality.
  10. You have officially lost your mind here.
  11. Count me in this camp. Burger is so limited defensively, and double blocked at pretty much any position he could play for the Sox, that he is the exact type of piece I would love to see them use for a trade, versus someone else who could actually help the team in the next few years.
  12. Yeah, you are on this.
  13. I am sure all of his middle school buddies laughed at this in the PE locker room.
  14. Seeing Colas go like this, combined with the weird situation of last month, I wonder what his standing is in this organization.
  15. With the top 11 picks signed, there is the situation left at hand. Not much left to sign, but we have just over $60k extra we could use for any over $125k bonuses for either rounds 12-19 picks, or for any NDFAs.
  16. Yolmer Sanchez comes to mind.
  17. And I will add to this by saying the following, say Steve Stone is right, and these players are highly flawed in some way. What does it say about Tony LaRussa that he is getting less out of them as a Hall of Famer guy manager, than an unemployed Ricky Renteria? But it is also literally the point of having a manager. It is your job to put together people from all skills, backgrounds, interest levels, etc and convince them all to work together to get as much out of their potential as possible. Seeing as the players both individually and as a unit have almost all regressed, and very few have actually broken out or moved forward I can't see how you can argue that even if the roster is flawed, it should be doing a lot better than it is, or even than it was.
  18. And last year was Correa, etc.
  19. More specifically, Steve Stone's ego doesn't allow him to shut up. He can think what he wants, but his need for everyone to know he is the smartest guy in the room gets him into trouble. He is out here going after Sox fans who don't agree with him now, when all he has to do is shut up.
  20. They said the same thing last year, while refusing to try to resign everybody.
  21. Don't get me wrong, I am pissed off as a Sox fan, but the Cubs fan base is just getting brutalized by the Ricketts regime. That team is a freaking cash cow, and they are dumping players like they are Oakland.
