He's toast. It's really, really obvious he is hurt, and they are trying limp him through to get something out of him. It's Carlos Rodon, so we should have all expected it.

And if it really matters, and we have an above average covid/obesity country, we should probably try to stop covid instead of finger wagging about something that won't kill you nearly as quickly as the bigger one.

For the record, obesity, while a major issue in this country doesn't seem to have a world wide correlation to death rates. Peru leads the world in covid death rate per million, yet their are way below average in the world for obesity. Same with 2nd place Hungary. Same with 3rd place Bosnia. The fat old US ranks 22nd in the world in covid death rate. There really isn't any correlation between the most obese countries and the highest covid death rates.

Just a pure guess, this is about the time to see someone else in CF.

I am glad this got to happen. This kid is what baseball should be all about. The game has so much fun and joy in it, if you take the time to find it. Great for the way this kid is being raised, and good on the Sox/Kimbrel for making this happen.

Maybe you push him against lefties now, but Andrew Vaughn absolutely destroys lefties already, and is a much better OF than Sheets is.

The other side of the coin is the Rays could well be resting people to get ready for the playoffs.

The Bears have a garbage roster. They have had a garbage roster for a number of years now. It used to be at least the defense could hold up to give the offense a chance, but now even the defense is starting to slow down. It is a team that is capped hard, and one that has given away draft picks to get here. Forget firing Nagy, fire the front office, and burn this thing to the ground like they have needed to for a while now. Stock up on draft picks, take the cap pain, and look at getting a decent team on the field by the time Fields will be a free agent.
