Favorite airport?
ORD - International Terminal is the best designed airport terminal I've ever used. The others are terrible. MDW - OK, nothing special. GRR - Nice, quick, easy to use. FNT - Fisher Priceish. DTW - Customs makes me think I'm in a third world marketplace JFK - Large and comfortable. ATL - Nice to transfer, and that's it. HOU - Awful awful awful BOS - See Houston PHL - Easy to use, not a very comfortable place for a three hour delay. LHR - Nice place, lots to do. Still not worth an 8 hour layover. STN - Big airport, you walk forever to get anywhere. AMS - Huge airport, has a casino. TXL - Cramped. Neat design but overused. CDG - It was pretty and useful for 1968 type air traffic. Not for 2005. CPH - Nice, but when you're stuck for a long delay - boring. Not a single television anywhere.

Favorite Channel
Bravo has been on my screen lately. Because I like the reality shows that nobody watches.

Wanna know what I think? I think its Friday and happy hour is at 4.

Rove says Democrats don't care about 9/11
Aren't you the same guy who bashes Dean for what he says about Republicans at Democratic meetings?

Durbin compares servicemen to Nazi's
I'm sorry the "They do it more/worse" doesn't wash with me. How is it everything is black and white for this administration except this issue? http://www.nytimes.com/2005/06/24/politics...agewanted=print Today's New York Times showed that doctors assisted in these sessions. That is a practice common during the Third Reich by the way.

Constitutional Amendment on Flag Burning
QUOTE(ChiSoxyGirl @ Jun 23, 2005 -> 03:24 PM) Just out of curiosity--do other countries have similar laws? There are very few western democracies that have similar laws.

Rove says Democrats don't care about 9/11
QUOTE(EvilMonkey @ Jun 23, 2005 -> 08:21 PM) I love how every time a conservative/Republican says or does anything that the liberals think is wrong, they immediately call for their resignation. That must be because they can't defeat them in the elections. That never happens from the Republican party (Grey Davis, Bill Clinton)

That must be because they can't defeat them in the elections. Maybe its because the people Democrats ask to resign aren't elected.

Rove says Democrats don't care about 9/11
QUOTE(southsider2k5 @ Jun 23, 2005 -> 12:51 PM) I am sure he is just misunderstood, or didn't really *mean* what he said. It was probably just a poor choice of words. Did I hit all of the Durbin excuses yet? No, you misunderstood him. He said that we are doing some unacceptable things and simply quoted an FBI interrogator to make his point. Karl Rove insulted the 48.5% of the population that voted for the Democrats in 2004. He lied too. There was absolute bipartisan support immediately following 9/11.

"I get a lot more grief than Ozzie."
It's about perception. Dusty Baker came in as the manager destined to turn the Cubs into Champions. That didn't happen. Ozzie came in with few expectations from the press and his narrative is "Ozzie's just about bat s*** crazy, look at what he said! *chuckle chuckle chortle*" Sad thing is, I think this might be Dusty's way to talk smack. He's not even any good at that.

Constitutional Amendment on Flag Burning
Here's to hoping that at least 34 senators remember that you don't protect freedom by taking it away.

Joe Biden to run for President in '08
Don't worry, I think he's just running for president of MBNA or Citibank or some other big Delaware based credit card company that paid for him to help put the bankruptcy bill through.

Durbin compares servicemen to Nazi's
He apologized for something he never said. That's so f***ing sad. The GOP never apologizes for using that kind of comparison. Last year during the campaign, the GOP created an internet Bush 04 ad interspersing Hitler between Kerry and Daschle. Ken Mehlman never apologized. In 2003, Grover Norquist compared the estate tax to Auschwitz. He never apologized. Dick Durbin quoted an FBI report about whats happening in our own camps and said some of these techniques you'd expect to find in... there's a big damn difference there. Four years ago, we all seemed to think torture is wrong. Today, as long as our torture is a couple notches above what the other guy does, it's apparently OK. So the Guantanamo Bay detainees aren't starving... but we are going too far sometimes. And to defend these actions is to abandon the basic freedoms and ethics that we came into this fight to protect. I don't want to win the fight and lose the war.

music
I'm not a Billy Corgan fan myself, I always thought that "Tonight Tonight" sounded a lot like a song an 8 year old would write who ran out of words when he got to the chorus. Tonight! Tonight! Tonight! Tonight! Tonight! Please. Spelling error corrected. Thank you.

It is about Ego. He's been replaced as indie god and its eating him up. It seems like the only time you hear from him is when he seems to think that bands like Weezer are becoming a bigger influence than the Pumpkins. Personally, I think the best thing he ever put out was his Fleetwood Mac cover.

WHY IS THIS GUY STILL A SENATOR!!!!!
Judging from WV's history of what Klan actions there were, probably not. The Klan was very weak in the Mountaineer State.
