  1. Happy about the Bucs hire. Wouldve cried myself to sleep if Mike Sherman wouldve been named HC.
  2. QUOTE (Jenksismyb**** @ Jan 25, 2012 -> 09:58 AM) You mean a win against a top ten team like Michigan State? meaning like win more than just 2 of your first 7 conference games.
  3. QUOTE (Soxbadger @ Jan 23, 2012 -> 03:27 PM) Not only did Big10 have 8, they also had NU just on the outside. I actually am starting to believe that the Big10 is going to at minimum get 7. Right now OSU, MSU are locks, Wisconsin, Ill, Indiana, Michigan are all in as of today, and I think at worst 1 and likely 2 of Purdue, Minnesota and NU make it. I dont see Minnesota making it and no way does Northwestern even deserve to be mentioned. A good RPI is nice to talk about but you have to start winning some big games eventually.
  4. QUOTE (Felix @ Jan 22, 2012 -> 12:53 PM) Fixed no, he had it right the first time.
  5. QUOTE (Rowand44 @ Jan 22, 2012 -> 11:54 AM) Well hoof***inray for no major recruiting violations. Really? However you want to look at it, this guy enabled child rape. If there is a hell he's burning in it. I'm a non-believer but doesnt he have to just repent and ask for forgiveness and he is in the clear?
  6. He joins Bear Bryant as legendary coaches who died weeks after their coaching career ended. RIP
  7. QUOTE (LittleHurt05 @ Jan 17, 2012 -> 10:31 AM) After watching LSU's offense last Monday, he probably wanted nothing to do with them. reason why it looks that bad is because they have no one at QB. It worked out for JaMarcus Russell.
  8. QUOTE (G&T @ Jan 16, 2012 -> 10:25 PM) Adidas can't keep him from going where he wants. but he doesnt want to go to Chicago. No reason to hate on him for that.
  9. QUOTE (kjshoe04 @ Jan 15, 2012 -> 09:10 PM) The refs did everything they could to get Green Bay a win today. yeah they did. Now that I read it again, I think he meant how the NBA wants their Finals to have the biggest players in it. The NFL doesnt care who is in the Super Bowl because it will be a ratings winner regardless. Casual fans will watch a Super Bowl if it had a Jacksonville or Buffalo. Casual basketball fans wouldnt bother watching a series involving a team like the Bucks or Timberwolves.
  10. QUOTE (BigSqwert @ Jan 15, 2012 -> 08:27 PM) This went over my head. as in fixing the outcome
  11. QUOTE (Steve9347 @ Jan 13, 2012 -> 06:24 PM) I hope we have seen his final game with the Hawks. I went back to read some of the comments that were made after the 'Hawks signed him and everyone here hated it. Everyone knows Carcillo is a b**** but there are usually a couple of people per message board that will make excuses and support the signing but not this time. Kudos to you guys.
  12. QUOTE (Soxbadger @ Jan 14, 2012 -> 04:12 PM) FSU destroyed UNC, odd. FSU always beats one highly ranked team at home it seems under Hamilton each season. For as bad as FSU has looked, the line was only UNC -6 today. That just screamed out that FSU was the play.
  13. QUOTE (GoSox05 @ Jan 10, 2012 -> 02:44 PM) @AlabamaLoyal AlabamaLoyal BREAKING NEWS: LSU is stuck in #NOLA, someone painted a 50 yd line in front of their bus! lol
  14. QUOTE (LittleHurt05 @ Jan 9, 2012 -> 09:18 PM) McCarron is playing decent so far, but for the two best teams in the country, they sure have some s***ty quarterbacks. well to be fair, McCarron is young and playing the second best defense in the country. Jefferson has always sucked.
  15. call me immature but I cant stop laughing at this comment I saw on another forum.
  16. QUOTE (SOXOBAMA @ Jan 8, 2012 -> 08:28 PM) Jesus will always beat a rapist!! :-) The best thing about Pitt losing, is that we don't have to hear from Joe Cowley Big Ben shouldve became a priest if he wanted Jesus on his side.
  17. congrats to the Steelers for being too prideful in realizing that Tebow may suck, he is still a professional who can hit wide ass open receivers down the field. But hey, just keep blitzing your safeties.
  18. QUOTE (LittleHurt05 @ Jan 8, 2012 -> 03:32 PM) Out of the 3 potential 2nd round opponents, the Giants are definitely the toughest matchup for Green Bay. That being said, it would require a perfect game out of them to win in Lambeau. and part of that perfect game requirement would be less than perfect weather conditions.
  19. QUOTE (Soxbadger @ Jan 8, 2012 -> 02:53 PM) Im not sure people realize how ungodly his numbers were. 72% completion, 37/6 td/int. and he played in the Big 12 where he faced Ok and had one of his best games. Yeah he's a good talent but his ungodly numbers had a lot to do with the conference he played in. McCoy completed 70% of his passes for his career. Weeden completed 72% of his passes this year. Something like 7 times a Big 12 QB has completed over 70% of his passes in the last 4 years. None were Sam Bradford.
  20. Marino's stats are pretty absurd for a rookie in just 9 starts in that era of NFL passing. Imagine what he couldve done in today's game. And he was win 7-2. And I think the criteria should be more stat related but winning games/contribution to team's success should be bonus points.
  21. QUOTE (Rowand44 @ Jan 8, 2012 -> 11:52 AM) Stafford was seriously bad at the beginning of the season despite his stats, that being said he made huge strides the last 5 or so games but I'd still take Cutler. Jay is seriously a top 5 qb right now, outside the big 3, I don't think there's a qb out there I'd rather have than Cutler. Let's not get carried away with saying he's top 5. In no order Brees,Brady,Rivers,Eli,Romo,Rodgers,Ryan,Schaub,Big Ben. That is 9 right there and that doesnt include if Peyton comes back.
  22. From the East, it's going to take a really hot goalie and a team that can match the B's physicality to beat them 4 out of 7 games. So the Rangers or Flyers but I dont think Philadelphia has the goaltending to do so. But we arent even halfway thru the season so who knows really. I just hope the Bruins have no significant injuries, especially to someone like Bergeron who has had concussion issues in the past. He is really the glue of this team.
  23. QUOTE (LittleHurt05 @ Jan 4, 2012 -> 08:14 PM) Tim Howard scored a goal in England today Might have found our second striker up top. I like his non reaction. Him being a goalie, he probably felt bad that the other GK got embarrassed because its not like he was trying to score. haha
