Canada has the Canucks and we here in the US have the Penguins. Nice to see punks get embarrassed after all the media was swinging from their nuts.

QUOTE (RockRaines @ Apr 10, 2012 -> 06:17 PM) LOL, come on man. Florida has 3 national titles, guess who has 2 of them. Zook never won a conference title, Urban won 2 of them. Zook went to zero SEC championship games, Urban went to 3. Zook went 8-5, 8-5, 7-5. Urban went 9-3, 13-1, 9-4, 13-1, 13-1, 8-5. Class rankings under Zook: 20th 2nd 7th Urban: 11th 2nd 1st 12th (7th in star rating) 3rd in star rating (small class only 16 ships) 1st Florida had Spurrier and nothing else in its history. They never won a conference title until 1991. Urban not only brought them back into the elite, he left them there. They have a TON of talent and zero coaching. Where is the offensive talent at Florida? They have no WRs and havent had a decent RB since Harvin left, if you want to count him as a running back. The offensive line has been average at best the past 2 seasons. How did he leave Florida elite? Since Meyer took over the UF program, the Gators have lost 21 games. 11 of those loses came in the past two seasons. A rough season can be expected after 4 years of Tebow but I watched every Gator game and there was no improvement during the final year of Meyer's tenure. So either Meyer was having a bad season coaching or he whiffed or didnt recruit any talent on offense. And last year's offense was just as bad because it was basically the same story from 2010. No RBs or WRs and average at best O-line. Rankings are all nice and fun for bragging rights but we all know how biased Rivals is. Meyer could offer me a scholarship tomorrow and I'm sure Rivals will give me 2 stars. I've read a few people who follow HS football in Florida say that UF was on its way down based on the recruiting classes Meyer was bringing in during his final years. -

They have pretty much no talent right now on the offensive side of the ball. Actually Florida is half the program it once was because of Meyer. They went from winning 13 games a season to winning 7 games because of what he recruited. And youre giving Meyer way too much credit. We all know Florida was a premier program under Spurrier and even though Zook was horrible, with the money and resources at UF, they were going to hire someone very good to take over. And as bad as Zook was, he was still winning as much as Meyer was during his last two seasons at Florida and was bringing in much better talent. -

From champs to chomped: How Urban Meyer broke Florida football link pretty interesting but nothing really earth shattering. The whispers around the state about these things have been going on for a few years now. -
QUOTE (RockRaines @ Apr 9, 2012 -> 02:21 PM) I say sit Toews for the rest of the season, no need to f*** up his career potentially. Let him rest. This team doesnt have a great shot of contending for the cup IMO. Boston is experiencing the same thing with Horton. Although Horton still has a long ways to go still, there is no reason to risk it. We dont need anymore players ending up like Marc Savard.
-
is it premature to put an "x" in front of Detroit in the standings?
-
cant wait to see the Boston fans turn on Bobby V. haha

Didnt take long for Ozzie to make an ass out of himself. http://miamiherald.typepad.com/fish_bytes/...ro-comment.html He is a total idiot. First he says he doesnt like how Castro treats the people of Cuba and then says he respects him as a person?

QUOTE (LittleHurt05 @ Apr 6, 2012 -> 03:32 PM) Holy s*** is the Rays lineup awful. Jeff Keppinger batting cleanup? Doesnt matter when you have Carlos Pena!

QUOTE (flippedoutpunk @ Apr 5, 2012 -> 06:22 PM) i feel bad for brock. not that i think he could of beat overeem even without him juicing, but its gotta suck to get put into retirement by a cheater. I think his illness put him into retirement.
-
it was a gimmick play that didnt even get past step 1 of the process. I shouldnt have put the blame on Craft there. It falls on Matta. Trying to run a trick play in that situation and asking the shooter to hold his spot behind the FT line is asking a lot in that setting.

what a moronic play by Craft.

QUOTE (dasox24 @ Mar 29, 2012 -> 11:45 AM) I'm just happy Spring Practice has started. I had the biggest smile on my face on Monday when I saw pictures of the guys at practice. We're 5 months away from the actual start of College Football season and I'm more pumped about that than any of the current sports going on right now. So what is the take on Dooley's future? I was reading an ESPN chat wrap and the "expert" said a 7-5 would probably mean the end for Dooley. Is that the general consensus around Tennessee? -

QUOTE (fathom @ Mar 29, 2012 -> 11:53 AM) He was AWFUL last year when he played for Maryland Yeah he was. I wonder how much of that had to do with Edsall. -
I like the game but never watch it on tv. Today I watched the last 6 holes though.

QUOTE (LittleHurt05 @ Mar 23, 2012 -> 10:01 AM) Anybody else incredibly bored by this year's tourney? The Duke/Missouri upsets were fun (for some of us), but with no buzzer beaters, no great individual performances, it feels like this tourney has been pretty blah so far. oh its been incredibly blah. only thing that would get me excited for a game this tournament would be a Kentucky-Louisville Final Four showdown. -
QUOTE (EvilJester99 @ Mar 20, 2012 -> 11:45 AM) The biggest problem I ever hear from non fans.. its too hard to follow the puck.. I highly doubt most non fans gives two s***s about fighting. To me fighting isn't the biggest issue with hockey anyway. To me its due to so many soft players who know if they get hit in the back they will draw a penalty.. so they turn their back to people when they know they are going to get hit...instead of bracing and taking the hit they get nailed into the boards and injury occurs.. IMO. To me its all the soft players who take liberties with other players because they know they can hide behind the instigator rule. Fights have been cut in half over the past couple of years but the concussions and dirty checks have gone up. hmmmm

QUOTE (LittleHurt05 @ Mar 20, 2012 -> 09:45 AM) When I say staged, I mean that 3 different groups of guys pre-planned to drop the gloves at opening faceoff. It wasn't a direct result of some play that occurred, it was just pure anger like you said. I think stuff like that is a bit over the top and doesn't do hockey any good. no different than a baseball team waiting 3 months to bean an opposing hitter.

Crushing blow for sure but I still see them getting to the Final Four. Then who knows.

what a week for this guy. Gets his video all over the place, gets exposed as a fraud and will know be known as the guy who jerked off in public.
