He can take PKs spot as the RH power hitter at 1B. I like Phegs behind the plate. Also he's proven more than any prospect we've speculated about.

No thanks on Cecchini, at least as the centerpiece. This team lacks power, I don't want a guy who has 14 HRs total in 242 minor league games to play a power position like 3rd. I'd rather have Middlebrooks. Chicks don't dig walks.

2013 in a nutshell was the stat Hawk brought up earlier this week. Last year the Sox gave up 30 unearned runs all year, this year they're already at at 44+(Don't remember when he said it but at the time he said they had 41 and I recall at least 3 unearned runs yesterday)....That is an incredible statistic. If this team remembers how to play D and they add some thud to the middle of the lineup I have no doubts about the Sox being able to win next year.

I've seen Beckham make enough plays at 2B to both his left and his right to think he'd be more than fine at SS. At the very least he'd be better than Peralta and we've seen how far a team can go with him at SS. Martinez for Lexi is just to good to be true.

Expected to be in the lineup tomorrow. Conor hasn't been any good this past month so I hope we see Keppinger at 3B with PK and Dunn at 1B/DH.
