QUOTE (GoodAsGould @ Oct 24, 2012 -> 08:51 AM) That is ridiculous, every time Coop talks he comes off as a dueschbag but the guy is a damn good pitching coach and as long as he isn't making a big fuss and providing results its ok. Granted I only listen after a win so I may not see the dbag side of him but I find him enjoyable....He's your typical new yorker, that new york accent may make everything sound douchey....I've got family from NY that visits every other year, I got an uncle who reminds me a lot of him.

QUOTE (greg775 @ Oct 24, 2012 -> 03:41 PM) Mark did great. Bell let the fans down by reporting fat and lousy. Reyes was fine. Ozzie deserved more than one year. Bell has always been fat! How can the front office get an F for adding all that ?

QUOTE (greg775 @ Oct 24, 2012 -> 03:17 PM) Will I admit he failed this season? Sure. He deserves a D. But his front office deserves an F. They brought in Bell. As far as the Sox ... yeah they were improved, but Robin also engineered an epic epic collapse down the stretch. It was sick and sad. I don't understand your guys' venom toward Ozzie. He is who he is. An entertaining, ego driven nut, which is kind of cool in this day and age of say-nothingness political correctness. Now that he's leaving the public eye, why not just like him as I do? And I wish Robin the best. I never ripped him half as bad as many others in the game threads. C'mon man, you asked me how old I was before now I wanna turn the tables, how old are you??? It's childish to think the front office "deserves an F". Heath Bell- All Star the previous 3 years, best closer in the NL in '10 and '11 Jose Reyes- Batting Title the previous year. Mark Buehrle- A god in your book How in the world can you say the front office deserves an F for adding those guys? Thats childish, he's been big his whole career and that hasn't messed with his game before.

QUOTE (TaylorStSox @ Oct 24, 2012 -> 12:54 PM) b****esname='southsider2k5' date='Oct 24, 2012 -> 07:56 AM' post='2718711'] He tore his oblique and lost bat speed, imagine that. So now you're saying he did lose bat soeed? Which is it? What happened there? You try tearing your oblique and swing a bat with the same torque and speed as before, it's not gonna happen.

QUOTE (greg775 @ Oct 24, 2012 -> 01:56 AM) Finally. Somebody answers each of my points! Thank you! Is Q only 20? Really? Quintana? Much younger than I thought. I don't care about popularity. I'm loyal to Ozzie for what he did for me (Sox). He made my happy in 2005, mighty happy. You're welcome but where's your rebuttal. P.S. Happy Belated Birthday Q!

QUOTE (Whitewashed in '05 @ Oct 24, 2012 -> 01:06 AM) Greg you are unbelievable. You just can't admit you are wrong. You blame everyone else EXCEPT ozzie. It's always someone elses fault like if you're his 10 year old kid. My goodness... I'm convinced they're related or personal friends.

QUOTE (greg775 @ Oct 24, 2012 -> 12:43 AM) I don't think his behavior was that bad. 1.) Loria laughed his butt off during the first meeting, counting Ozzie's F-bombs in the spring training speech. Loria thought it was funny. His ill-put together team sucked so now Ozzie is unprofessional cussing. Hmmmmm. You Oz haters: Please comment specifically on this point. Richboy Loria LAUGHED his ass off during Ozzie's first expletive-riddled speech to the team. Watch it on youtube. You tell me he's not a hypocrite??? 2.) Ozzie "loves" Castro. Very ill advised statement even though he explained what he meant. 3.) Heath Bell. Big fatboy out of shape after getting a big contract. Ozzie supported him all the way. Bell is a disgrace to baseball getting all fat like that and sucking just cause he had a great contract. 4.) Marlins trade everybody and give up. Ozzie didn't make a peep the second half of the year til the end when he yapped about Loria. 5.) Ozzie blasts Loria. Bye bye Ozzie. You gawn. But it was a deserved comment, putting the richboy owner in his place. It got Ozzie fired, but Loria can't take away the money Ozzie gets for NO WORK. So in Ozzie's mind he wins. He doesn't have to work a day for that crummy owner and gets the same amount of money he would have had he worked every day. 6.) Ozzie talks about his money and getting fired a lot and how he doesn't care: Who cares? That's another thing that wouldn't matter if the team was winning. He always talked like that in Chicago. Ozzie is the scapegoat for the lousy season. Whoever put together that awful team should be the scapegoat. And Loria was the guy who wanted Heath Bell. Hilarious. Loria should fire himself. What a clown. Moral of story: Will ozzie manage the White Sox again? If Jerry lives 20 more years ... yes. First thing Sox should do: Trade for Buehrle and bring him home. Trade Quintana and Morel for Mark and have Miami pay most of the contract. Or trade Quintana and Beckham for Mark. 1. It gets old. 2. In the heavily Cuban Miami that's just a stupid, stupid thing to say. It's that kind of stupidity/lack of thinking before he speaks that will keep him out of the booth. 3.That fatboy closer was coming of 3 straight all star seasons including back to back Rolaids Relief Awards...at around the same size. 4.They ADDED Carlos Lee, team still sucked somehow, then they traded and gave up, it was useless. 5. It wasn't just the comments on Loria that got him fired but I'm sure it was the straw that broke the camels back. 6. Loria gave him a SOLID team that should have no doubt been a contender, many experts thought that. But Buehrle must be awful because Loria brought him in right?

QUOTE (greg775 @ Oct 23, 2012 -> 10:25 PM) I personally think Oz is a lot more likeable than grumpy Coop, whose pitching staff just sucked the last three weeks BTW. But Coop gets a free pass. To go along with the previous posts saying that personality doesn't matter....I find Coop to be a really likeable guy. I really enjoy listening to Coop at the Cork when I get a chance. I'd much rather spend a day with Coop, but I'm a pretty low key guy.

Strained groin for Kirk, hope its nothing serious.
-
I took to facebook and got us another guy anddd of course right as i say that someone else joins....i told him he can join if he finds someone else Final edit: looks like we already filled up before he got in.

3000 members and we can only get 9 people?? For shame, I think it'll be fun.

QUOTE (greg775 @ Oct 23, 2012 -> 05:44 PM) Would Robin bring him aboard? I hope not. I wasn't calling for him to be the 3B coach I was just saying thats the only spot I wouldn't mind him at.....As long as Jerry tells him to keep his mouth shut!
-
He also said something along the lines of "Stanton is the only reason fans have to show up"...way to throw your whole team under the bus.

QUOTE (greg775 @ Oct 23, 2012 -> 05:37 PM) I don't think there's an owner besides Jerry that would have the balls to hire Ozzie. Now the question is will Jerry bring him back in the TV or radio booth? Again, probably not cause of the language barrier. He has time, however, to get a speech coach in the offseason to learn to speak slower. Bring him back to the South Side!!! I think even you guys who hate him wouldn't mind seeing him back in some capacity, right?? And whats that tell you?? If he was truly a great manager an owner wouldn't care if he's a blabber mouth. ONLY job I'll take him at is a 3B coach, nothing more.
-
If Ozzie becomes an announcer for the Sox I'll start watching games on mute. I can't stand his ignorance.
-
I can't see Ozzie managing again anytime soon, maybe he'll go back to being a 3B coach where the Owner/manager forbids him from opening his yapper.
-
That's it, fire RV Ozzie's on the market! Lol he'll be 3rd base coach in a year or 2.

That hair!!

QUOTE (Brian @ Oct 23, 2012 -> 02:33 PM) Punk, Brock, and 3 guys that most audiences have never seen. Don't hold your breath. Also doubt they waste a date on Brock at SS. Probably not but it's how I'd do it. There's no one else on the roster that has been billed as a "Heyman guy" so bringing in these 3 new guys who the WWE has buried in FCW/NXT for far too long, much like Punk back in the day, would make sense to me and be a brilliant move. Bringing them in in this manner is an innovative way to debut new talent and could get them over instantly. Throw them in the fire right of the bat in singles matches against team WWE guys (Somethin like Cena, Ryback, Kane, Bryan, HHH? or Kofi?) Ride that faction out for a little bit and then book some kind of split that results in them feuding against each other which would be all kinds of awesome. -
QUOTE (Steve9347 @ Oct 23, 2012 -> 10:27 AM) Here's some friendly advice on who to scoop up off your league's waiver wire. http://flapship.com/tuesday-sexy-fantasy-football-pickups/ Andre Roberts not on that list because he should already be off the market? Or are Young, SR and Hankerson better options? (Already have Gordon)

With Vickie only being the interim GM I hope things play out like I've been wanting it too and there's some kind of Team Heyman vs Team ??? at Survivor Series for the Raw GM spot. In said situation they bring in Ohno, Rollins, and Ambrose as Heyman guys to go with Brock and Punk.....So much potential there! -
Thats pretty intense. Menards carries security cameras for a good price. Maybe take a day off and try to catch them in the act? Maybe its ghosties??
