TA so hot right now, strike outs remain a huge concern but great to see him hitting in August.

But Moncada sucks at a RHH he should only be a LHH....../s nice hit.

Hes been on a tear since he got promoted, 7 game hit streak to start his career. I like comps personally and I think a good/better/best scenario would be something like this Ben Broussard / Travis Shaw / Brandon Belt KATOH preseason by stats only had him ranked at #92 with 4.4fWAR I really enjoy his approach at the plate and love his willingness to bunt against the shift and his splits in the minors as he has progressed have been average to slightly above against left handed pitching.

He is under sox control till after '21. If the sox are dark horses in 19 he should be a part of the competitive window for three years if you include '19.

SS - .260/.314/.411 - .725 wRC+ 89, 6.9BB% & 18.9K% CF - .266/.334/.436 - .771 wRC+ 103, 8.5BB% & 21.8K% RF - .264/.340/.456 - .796 wRC+ 109, 9.6BB% & 21.5K% LF - .258/.329/.428 - .757 wRC+ 99, 8.8BB% & 21.6K% 3B - .258/.330/.444 - .775 wRC+ 103, 9BB% & 20.4K% 2B - .268/.331/.420 - .751 wRC+ 97, 7.6BB% & 18K% Leury this year .288/.339/.454 - .793 wRC+ 111, 4.8BB% 18.5K% and he is above average in every facet of the game. Hansen and Dunning would be waiting at AAA to crack a stacked rotation as depth or moved for a piece, Cease would likely be pushing AAA mid season, maybe.

As others said this was a great rebuilding loss. Bunting with Engel the first time sure, I guess but you gotta put faith in the kids too that they can deliver.

I think there is a good chance that a fair amount of those prospects beat those ETAs. as for '20 this is what i see if the sox have a similar success rate as the cubs.
