Fulmer sent to Charlotte
I like what Fulmer features but he is likely best served in short stints being effectively wild if he can't get a release point down, hes got quality stuff just no idea how to control it.

Trey Michalczewski
I'm sure some of you have noticed but Trey Michalczewski is really turning it on this season at AA. Hes been playing around the infield a bit more(2B) but he is only 23 and while this is his third trip through AA and hes played 272 games there, hes still age appropriate. With no one standing in his way at AAA I think he will be moved mid-season and if he produces, could likely be a Sept call up. Trey's BB% and K% are similar to his career average but his BABIP is near .400 this year, but his splits are interesting; maybe he should give up being a RH hitter - against RHP .324/.407/.529 - .937 with a 12 BB% and 23 K%.

2018 MLB Draft
I like Bohm but i feel hes destined for 1B. If Singer or Madrigal are there at 4 I'm fine with the sox going slot, but if they've got other ideas about going under slot the only two names I'm interested in at #4 with massive cost savings are India and McClanahan.

I dig that alot Side note not on the topic of outfielders but they may deserve a call up to AAA in the not too distant future, there is still time and a chance for him.

2018 MLB Draft
As it stands today this is what I could see the sox doing. #4($6,411,400) - 3B Jonathan India. Underslot pick value is $6,411,400 sign him for 8-12ish money $4,560,200. India fits the bill for someone the organization can throw at SS to see if he sticks if not move him to 2B/3B as we might have a glut of 1B in the not too distant future. Lowerish ceiling than Bohm but better on the defensive spectrum and has a similar track record and break out as former apple of the sox eye in Benintendi. #46($1,556,100) - SS Xavier Edwards. With the royals and rays being in a weird position with both pick position and bonus pool I think someone like SS Xavier Edwards could slip down a bit and be an attractive pick for the sox, with the savings from India. The org has said time and time again they want more prep player, this seems like a good fit. #81($726,700) - SS Jeremiah Jackson. Keeping with the theme of stocking the low minors with toolsy prep middle infielders. possibly right around slot #108($517,800) - LHP Garrett Wade. With the savings from India and being roughly around slot for Jackson sox should be able to take a good looking prep lefty with plenty of projection. #138($386,800) - RHP Bryce Montes de Oca. Sox drafted him in the 14th in 2014. The white sox have a habit of redrafting kids they're familiar with and this is where he is roughly being projected to go. Likely not going to start at the major league level, could be a fast rising BP arm likely comes in slightly under slot allowing the sox to go big with whomever falls past this point

Top 5 OF Prospects
Really enjoying this conversation; I'll add good better best comps as well just for fun, knowing that if 3 of these 7 hit their "good" we will all be elated. 1. Jimenez - Moises Alou / Carlos Lee / Manny Ramirez 2. Robert - Matt Kemp / Grady Sizemore / Andrew McCutchen 3. Basabe - Reggie Sanders / Mike Cameron / Curtis Granderson 4. Rutherford - Josh Reddick / Andre Ethier / Christian Yelich 5. Adolfo - Michael Taylor / Randal Grichuk / Giancarlo Stanton 6. Gonzalez - Ender Inciarte / David DeJesus / Mark Kotsay 7. Fisher - Jason Kubel / Ryan Ludwick / Josh Willingham

2018 MLB Draft
I'm all aboard the india train, really this is a year where it feels like having pick 2-7 is no different. India at #4 under slot and going heavy at #45 with a prep player would be fine by me or if someone like Eierman dropped. India's offensive profile reminds me of Daniel Murphy, and the fact that if he can't stick at SS means he will be able to at 2B/3B excites me as well. I'm with Law let him play SS on the farm if it doesn't work out you can always move him, he appears to have a great chance to be a major league contributor. With the depth this system has and the failures of the past the sox need to be able to produces regulars as well.

2018 MLB Draft
I think the sox board looks something like this 1 - Mize (has seperated himself from the pack) 2- Madrigal (best college hitter, "safe" a "fast riser" and even though you go for BPA fits a need in the system that is lacking depth at MI) 3- Shane McClanahan (Best college LHP, throws smoke has a very good change up and developing slider, seems like something the sox staff has had more than a fair bit of success with recently and again fits an org need while still being very reasonable for #4, outside of Rodon, the system is barren of TOR LHP; Clarkin profiles as a back of the rotation type and is currently struggling, Guerrero Might develop into a Clayton Richard type and Flores is holding his own at A+ but doesn't feature TOR stuff. I don't see them going prep with their first pick. 4- India (I think he has a slightly lower ceiling than Bohm but can stick at 3B and possibly MI seeing as hes spent a ton of time at SS for Florida and just a higher floor in general while being able to provide value outside of his bat. Conservatily the sox may have a log jam at 1B between the major league roster Abreu, Davidson, Delmonico and our top prospects Sheets, Collins(possibly) Burger(that injury is no joke) and Yurchak. Bohm doesn't offer the the defensive specturm as India and I think the sox would be better afforded with "safer" college hitters.

Nice outing by Fry 1IP 3K ; had high hopes when he was drafted if he can become a lethal LOOGY I'll be very pleased. Should be up some time this year. Happy to see Luis Gonzalez doing well tonight 3/5 with a triple; should be moving up to A+ once that roster sorts it self out a bit, he strikes me as a Dustin Fowler type that will eventually make his way to the back portion of a top 100 list.

- Gamethread: White Sox vs Mariners 1:10 PM CST
Gotta love Yoan adjusting Also can Yolmer be the solution for 3B? He's rocking a 811OPS- 4/22 Games (Covey, Adams, Flores, Henzman)
very encouraging- 4/22 Games (Covey, Adams, Flores, Henzman)
Glad to see Blake back in the line up and Justin Yurchak coming on quickly.- 4/22 Astros vs White Sox, McCullers vs Lopez
Manny Gonzalez's zone has been a dumpster fire all game- 4/22 Astros vs White Sox, McCullers vs Lopez
- What Can Be Done to Fix this Mess?
In the short term nothing. Outside of Anderson and Moncada developing to all star level players hopefully Yolmer can be a solid regular and one of Delmonico or Davidson solve a problem at 1B/DH. The rotation and pen will shake it self out in time. Likely Gio and Fulmer wind up in the back end of the pen as Kopech, Hansen, Cease and Dunning make their way to Chicago.- 4/22 Astros vs White Sox, McCullers vs Lopez
up the ladder, nice. Glad to see him come back after the WP- 4/22 Astros vs White Sox, McCullers vs Lopez
