QUOTE (Joshua Strong @ Apr 4, 2017 -> 12:06 PM) How can we stream games from CSN? here you go -
QUOTE (daa84 @ Apr 4, 2017 -> 06:30 AM) i don't think anyone is catching the padres. That team is the hottest of garbage yeah they've got 5 rule V players on their roster tied with the '03 tigers in that division i could see them surpassing the tigers loss record. Still a top 3 pick is fine.

QUOTE (Chicago White Sox @ Apr 3, 2017 -> 08:01 AM) Hitter: Jameson Fisher Pitcher: Bernardo Flores AAAA Bonus: Nicky Delmonico once Frazier gets moved I would love to see 400 ml AB's for Delmonico

All aboard the tank train....next stop a top 3 pick in '18 followed by a top 5 pick in '19 and wild card contention.
-
For me personally from a pitching standpoint I'm going with Jordan Guerrero, will only be 23 at the start of the season and some projection left. On the offensive side of things I think Alex Call rockets through A+ and gets a cup of coffee at AAA near the end of the season.

QUOTE (SoxPride18 @ Mar 30, 2017 -> 05:42 PM) Could you imagine Sox sign Robert, draft Beer in 2018 and trade Q for Meadows +......... I want to believe. If the sox are so lucky to have that happen and not crap out on developement like the cubs... DH - S - Bell C - L - Collins 1B - L - Beer 2B - S - Moncada SS - R - Anderson 3B - R - Machado - might as well live the in this dream LF - R - Robert CF - L - Meadows RF - S - Basabe bench UT - R - Saladino UT - L - Delmonico OF - S - May C - ? -

QUOTE (chitownsportsfan @ Mar 30, 2017 -> 12:23 PM) I think there's a decent chance the Sox sign this guy. KW loves this type of move and now that they are officially rebuilding he should be able to sell it to JR. I'd be for it. Who cares about next year, grab this guy and go as far over the limit as you have to. Agreed, JR has no love lost for the new comish and has instructed his family to sell the sox when he passes. If that were to happen right before the new tv contract is up in addition to the sweet heart deal they have with the stadium low ml payroll and opperating costs and a bright looking future they could get a boon. -

QUOTE (Soha @ Mar 30, 2017 -> 11:35 AM) Sure would make for a bright future if we could add this guy on top of Moncada. That would be nice, he looks like he is going to out grow any notion of playing CF and wind up in LF. -
QUOTE (ChiSoxFanMike @ Mar 24, 2017 -> 09:20 AM) If Meadows is off the table entirely, I don't think the teams would still be talking. I don't buy it. I agree, Hahn knows exactly what value needs to be delivered to move Q.
-
Meadows/Bell/Hayes/Hearn and lets move on.
-
Quintana & Jennings for Martes/Tucker/Reed/Laureano/Stubbs

QUOTE (ChiSoxFanMike @ Mar 21, 2017 -> 11:18 AM) Do you really think the Sox are the frontrunners for Robert? I'd certainly hope so but they're hard to read because the front office keeps things quiet for the most part. Provided he doesn't clear and is available I think its very possible the sox land him based off KW recent comments as well. I could also see moving vets before both deadlines to get comp picks from the marlins and O's if they both start out hot and intl bonus pool money from teams that are capped or indifferent to the international signing period.
-
Love the deal, this is one of the strenghts of Hahn, its still possible to lock up Rodon 6m as a signing bonus is good but not set you up for life type of money and he still has 5 years before he is a FA i could see him dumping Boras possibly. I don't think we'll be able to lock up Yoan in a similar fashion if he delivers but that is fine provided they delay his service.

QUOTE (Y2JImmy0 @ Mar 16, 2017 -> 11:16 AM) Do we want Jo Adell in this scenario? SS Brady McConnell? His tools are off the chart some are referring to him as Bo Jackson if he only played baseball. I'm sure the white sox will take BPA and if that is an arm that falls a bit like Faedo, Lange or Houck I wouldn't be against it and with their recent success of graduating Thompson I wouldn't be against going for Adell if he is on the board at 11. the most surprising thing about BA's latest mock is the rise of Austin Beck and the slight depression of Kendall.

Teams have upped their offers in Q derby in the last week
beautox replied to Al Lopez's Ghost's topic in Pale Hose Talk
QUOTE (reiks12 @ Feb 8, 2017 -> 01:08 PM) There is no reason for the Yankees to get Q right now. If he is destroys the league again next season then sure, but there is no reason to risk acquiring him. He could turn into Danks 2.0 with time. thats just silly Quintana's last two years are options so if he did manage to s*** the bed they would be on the hook for 2M thats it so for 17 and 18 and his buy outs 16.8M, thats nothing like Danks at all, its even more risk adverse -

QUOTE (steveno89 @ Feb 8, 2017 -> 09:07 AM) Hahn has continued to insist that the White Sox will not compromise on Quintana...meaning they still are firm on the Musgrove + Martes + Tucker asking price I'd be open to a depth package, but if no Musgrove then I'd need Franklin Perez and AJ Reed to make up for it I agree, if no Musgrove than Reed+ needs to be included. I think Jennings makes a lot of sense for them since Sipp was garbage last year and the only lefty in their pen and has a fair amount of control left. -

QUOTE (soxfan2014 @ Feb 8, 2017 -> 08:38 AM) I think they will end up caving. No way A's sell low on Gray and to a division rival. I feel the same way. I think Jennings gets paired with him and its a 4-2 or 5-2 deal with Martes and Tucker coming back and some combination of Reed/Perez/Laureano/Stubbs -

Nightengale saying Astros want one more starter for their rotation per their owner before the season starts and ideally its Quintana or Gray on mlb network this morning. Not anything new per se. -
I'd bat him second behind TA and i'll take the over .265/.330/.350 above average defense in CF. .

QUOTE (Leonard Zelig @ Feb 7, 2017 -> 12:29 PM) Is this really a thing? absolutely his brother was drafted as a catcher and he has a similar build and projection of the "type" of player to be moved out of the infield and behind the dish as he fills out.

QUOTE (steveno89 @ Feb 7, 2017 -> 11:22 AM) The Nationals are not sending us 4 top 15 organizational prospects for Robertson and Lawrie. They really hurt their system depth in the Eaton trade, and Rizzo is in the tough spot of not really being able to sell off much more depth without harming their future greatly their future is the next two years before Harper hits free agency while hoping Zimmerman stops his decline at first. that package is 1 50 and 3 45 FV prospects and their isn't a floor between any of them, its the definition of boom or bust. If they're not keen on moving Feede and Severino they're going to have to compensate with more lottery tickets and I think its easier to sell to both the ownership and fan base that they're moving assets that won't factor into the next two years of competition in the east.
