The issue isn’t Eloys defense necessarily, it’s his body and mental mistakes. Manny fucking Ramirez played LF forever by just making the routine plays. Eloy seems to think he can be a gold glover out there which isn’t anywhere near the case and his body just does not agree. On ANY competent team Eloy should be strictly DH. The roster construction issues fall solely on the drafting/signing of individuals who can’t play anything besides first/DH.

The times I’ve seen him come into high pressure games, he always gave up a run.

While it does sound like sour grapes and I does make me think being a “leader” on the team… what was his part in the divide in the locker room or lack there of actual “leading”. BUT this just highlights yet again how dysfunctional this organization is and every day I grow to dislike baseball and this franchise even more.
