  1. Problems I had with Christian's return last night.... It was on ECW. Striker/Grisham sounded as if it were Tommy Dreamer coming out...JR/King...hell even Michael Cole would of put his return over. It was on ECW. I wouldn't of had him wrestle his first night back. It was on ECW. It wasn't on Raw or Smackdown. It was on ECW.
  2. QUOTE (whitesoxbrian @ Feb 11, 2009 -> 08:56 PM) I hate Dick Vitale as an announcer. As a Duke fan i'm surprised you don't love him.
  3. QUOTE (The Critic @ Feb 9, 2009 -> 02:15 AM) If there was a general Pro Wrestling Hall of Fame, then absolutely YES, Terry Funk deserves to get in. I don't feel he did much of his better work in WWE, but that falls more on "creative"'s shoulders than Terry's. "Chainsaw Charlie"? REALLY, Vince? Terry Funk was a 33-year veteran at that point but wasn't worthy to debut using his own name? However, since the WWE Hall of Fame seems to be the one most recognized, then yeah, Terry belongs in it. I'm sure he would be recognized for his entire body of work. It would be a comedy moment if they only recognized him for chainsaw charlie.
  4. QUOTE (RockRaines @ Feb 9, 2009 -> 04:36 PM) Bye Bye any chance at the HOF. Now we have you admitting you cheated, we have the statistical evidence you cheated, we have awards you won because of cheating. Go f*** yourself I really find it funny how vocal people are about this. Bonds says he didn't take them and people call for his head. A-Rod admits to it and people jump all over him. You would think all these "critics" have done nothing wrong in their lives...
  5. QUOTE (Jimbo's Drinker @ Feb 9, 2009 -> 03:20 PM) Even worse is taking shots of the Admiral Nelson. You may as well stop at a gas station and drink out of the pump. That's why they make Skol.
  6. QUOTE (bmags @ Feb 9, 2009 -> 11:06 AM) I bet that's bulls***. Blame the f***ing victim bulls***. Throw this kid in jail and have him raped. How's aids sound? I wasn't blaming Rhianna at all, he definitely shouldn't of laid hands on her. He forgot that he was Chris Brown superstar and not Chris Brown some dude from Virginia.
  7. QUOTE (shipps @ Feb 9, 2009 -> 01:59 PM) I like your silk shirt your sporting there LF, bringin the H-TOWN look back. *plays knockin da boots*
  8. QUOTE (Dick Allen @ Feb 9, 2009 -> 01:09 PM) According to the Daily Herald, the rumor is Miami would be willing to offer Marion and his expiring $17 million contract and Michael Beasley for Stoudamire and some cap matching filler. Could the Bulls beat that? I'm pretty sure I read somewhere that Phoenix turned that deal down already. Either that or they weren't interested.
  9. QUOTE (SoxAce @ Feb 9, 2009 -> 12:52 AM) IMO, the kid (both of them actually) is/are too young for his/her own fame. That really sucks for him, could definitely put a huge dent on his career and with the media. I don't care how much a female pisses you off, or hits you, whatever. You never, EVER hit a woman. Agreed. 100% The rumor is that he hit her over the news that she gave him herpes. Still, you dump the girl & keep it moving. He's got too much riding on his career to do something stupid like this.
  10. QUOTE (Alpha Dog @ Feb 8, 2009 -> 02:30 PM) try getting a non-ticketmaster event going in the United center? Not gonna happen. Well you could always go to the box office if you wanna avoid TM fees.
  11. QUOTE (LosMediasBlancas @ Feb 8, 2009 -> 11:57 AM) Sign of the times: Called Sprint to tell them I might be switching providers, they immediately bent over and tossed in all kinds of free s*** in order to keep me. I'm not on contract which put me in the driver's seat. The desperation in the guy's voice was telling of the state of the economy. That's usually how Sprint does it. I remember when I used to work at Radio Shack (which carried Sprint & AT&T) whenever a customer would come in wanting to cancel/switch service, Sprint would fold faster than Superman on laundry day. AT&T on the other hand...
  12. QUOTE (greg775 @ Feb 8, 2009 -> 01:28 PM) Educate me. Why do they want to dump him already? I think the Mark Texiera signing might be the reason...just a guess.
  13. QUOTE (juddling @ Feb 7, 2009 -> 06:07 PM) Man...i'd love to see those greedy SOB's go down. I wouldn't hold my breath.
  14. QUOTE (SoxFan562004 @ Feb 5, 2009 -> 05:48 PM) http://www.mmaweekly.com/absolutenm/templa...27&zoneid=2 Strikeforce bought ProElite's assets and inked a deal with Showtime. First event is 4/11 with Frank Shamrock It should be interesting which fighters go over to Strikeforce. Could finally be a real competitor against the UFC. UFC Fight Night tonight, not real excited to see anyone in particular. Just excited to watch some good ol' MMA.
  15. QUOTE (whitesoxbrian @ Feb 7, 2009 -> 01:18 PM) If the Bulls get Stoudemire, do they immediately give him an extension? Only if the fit works, if he doesn't fit in then you gotta let him go.
  16. QUOTE (Jenksismyb**** @ Feb 5, 2009 -> 10:58 AM) Anyone else think the ACC is slightly over hyped? I'm not saying that UNC, Duke, Wake, and Clemson aren't good teams, but ESPN would have you believe this is the greatest conference in the history of the game. Actually by watching they make me think that the Big East is the greatest conference ever.
  17. QUOTE (Cali @ Feb 5, 2009 -> 07:41 PM) I would hope he could do one of those one-day contracts and retire as a White Sox player... Does anyone think with the steroid issue looming SO large nowadays as it pertains to the HOF Frank has an even better shot? DH or no... Only question about Frank & the HOF is if he's gonna be 1st ballot.
  18. QUOTE (Brian @ Feb 5, 2009 -> 08:55 AM) So she could be dumb enough to sleep with someone like me? Nope. You wouldn't be missing much, her dad would be too busy trying to be your best friend.
  19. QUOTE (Brian @ Feb 4, 2009 -> 09:35 PM) Heard AT&T is negotiating to get MLB Network and Extra Innings package. Anyone heard anything? That would be excellent.
  20. QUOTE (Capn12 @ Feb 4, 2009 -> 08:25 PM) Wake Forest, how thee hath fallen... Signs of a young team.
  21. QUOTE (tommy @ Feb 4, 2009 -> 07:18 PM) Is there a way I can get opening day tickets still? I'm sure theres still a slight chance if you try next week. Other than that you may be better off getting an ozzie plan.
  22. QUOTE (DBAHO @ Feb 3, 2009 -> 02:20 PM) For the Cowboys, TO needs to be released, Kyle Kosier needs to be healthy, and we need a find a playmaking FS who can defend the pass. Since Chris Canty is leaving it seems, we'll need a DT/DE to replace him. Luckily we traded a 1st and a 3rd for Roy Williams (thanks Jerry). I would also like to draft an OT to develop behind Flozell Adams. DeMarcus Ware also needs to be locked up. As much as TO may need to leave Dallas, I really don't like going in with Williams & Crayton as the top 2 guys. Agreed on Kosier & the FS. I'd like more secondary help period. Also if Dallas lets go of TO, doesn't that take a big chunk out of the cap for 09? I also read a rumor a little while back that Jerry may be interested in bringing in Ray Lewis, something like that may be needed to get things right in the locker room.
  23. QUOTE (whitesoxfan101 @ Feb 3, 2009 -> 09:14 PM) So, is Jessica Simpson fat? So she's gotten a little thick, I wouldn't say fat territory yet. I still wouldn't kick her out of bed at this point.
