  1. Lynn is James Shields at this point. Too bad Hahn isn't a GM for some other team
  2. We are supposed to be committed to him more than he is committed to his wife. Sorry TA, being a fan of a player isn't unconditional love. He hasn't got any of the blowback Tiger Wopds got for cheating on his wife, and Tiger didn't get anyone else pregnant.
  3. I just wonder if he can play anymore. Have the injuries taken their toll? Has what he seems more concerned about hurt his game? Things are not right in TA land. I hope he can turn it around.
  4. Bullpen game with Banks starting. 1 run allowed in 8 innings. How does Pedro try to blow this? Please no Lopey.
  5. It's not only that, we aren't halfway through and akopech is almost at a career high in innings and needs to be monitored. The FO didn't even try the last 2 years.
  6. Robert is pretty much a HOFer when he's not trying to yank it down the LF line.
  7. When I was a kid my dad must of taught me some pretty advanced, s%*# since the White Sox players can't seem to get it. When he was a kid he was on some all star ream coached by Rogers Hornsby who hit .400 in the major leagues. My dad adapted his philosophy. Always look for patterns.99 percent of the time you sit on a fastball. With no strikes make the ball be in a small box you really like. With 1 strike the box gets a little bigger. With 2 strike you have to be defensive. If you're hitting too many groundballs focus on the bottom of the ball. You are by default, working counts.Too much air, focus on the top. Semns pretty simple. Sox hitters go up there flailing away like the just put $1 in their local batting cages. There was other stuff like using the batters box as a tool, but that was the just of it.
  8. I don't understand why this ongoing problem hasn't been addressed one way or another. Despite what they may say, it means this organization has accepted mediocrity at best. Their paying customers should take notice.
  9. Accountability isn’t a problem with the White Sox.
  10. No way on Theo. JR would never pay him, and Theo knows JR won’t commit enough cash to be big time. But I do agree with the rest. Letting KW and RH trade players after watching what they have done with this rebuild, is beyond insane.
  11. I posted after the first, watching their approaches, I thought 2 runs was the max tonight, but was really thinking 0 or 1. Eloy had a good game, and Benitendi did as well.
  12. Sox pitchers 17 strikeouts, 1 earned run, and 1 loss.
  13. He looks really good. Should be able to get something nice for him. I'd dangle him asap.
  14. I'm not sure if the White Sox actually scout players anywhere.
  15. That was too easy. No way the White Sox score more than 2 tonight, and that might be a longshot.
  16. Yes but I think this is more about TA throwing with a sore shoulder than an actual shift.
  17. Malfeasance definity applies here.
  18. I was excited about him at first, but he’s no better tha GarPax. He loves his shitty roster.
  19. The White Sox can’t be clueless that they have a real bad team. The record sucks. They seem content not to get swept. The season is almost half over and they have had very few games that they won pretty easily.
  20. Dick Allen replied to WBWSF's topic in Pale Hose Talk
JR almost choked when he gave Michael Jordan, a guy that literally made him hundreds of millions $30 million for 1 year. He isn't going to pay Ohtani what it takes, and from what Ozzie hears, he has no chance anyways. Ohtani wouldn't mind playing for the Cubs, but thinks it's too cold in Chicago.
