  1. Once there was a lockout, there was no chance Lucas would be a White Sox past 2023. Check JRs history with player reps, especially those during tough labor times, and going further, those that aren’t afraid to speak up.
  2. The 2 strange this about this are these segments are usually pre recorded, so you would think it would have been caught. The second thing is his partner doesn't even flinch. If I was standing next to him at the very least there would have been a WTF look.
  3. It says to avoid strenuous activity for ar least 2-4 weeks. I would consider swinging a bat exactly that. Plus it will take a bit to ramp up. He’s not going to be ready a day after he can really let it go. So 4-6 sounds right. Probably closer to 4 if everything goes according to plan.
  4. That’s a shame. He was really getting hot. I wonder if they burst. My brother just had his burst at the hospital. It’s not the death sentence it used to be but it does lengthen the recovery, plus he will probably need a rehab assignment.
  5. I think if the Sox lose tonight, they will match the number of games lost while hitting multiple home runs with the entirety of last season.
  6. His leg is definitely bothering him. It’s either the same knee, or something else.
  7. How did Dioner Navarro not make this team?
  8. 500 year old Jimmy Rollins would look good at SS on that team.
  9. The White Sox model is broken, and everyone knows it, except the White Sox. Here is a team that is supposed to be at the height of its multiple championships window, and they have to ignore the past 5 seasons of Andrus' career because they finally realized teams that rely on 2 rookies, Colas and Sosa, usually don't contend for championships. It's played out like everyone except RH, KW, JR and their lackeys thought. Probably even worse. Elvis' performance surprises no one, except those who have an office on 35th Street.
  10. I couldn’t believe for almost a month, it wasn’t .
  11. While I shook my head at most of what he said, all those rumors about him walking around not knowing what day it was were proven false. He's still sharp. Whether his heart is truly in it we don't know. I don't wish him ill health. I'm happy he's healthy. I do wish he would sell the team.
  12. I get what youre saying here, but those guys were going so bad, it might hamper them down the road. Get some ABs and come back in a little while.
  13. They extended him far too early IMO. Often injured, sometimes can't throw a strike to save his life....he is LH though.
  14. I'm not advocating for Diekman, another Rick Hahn mistake, I'm just saying if Bummer wasn't owed at least $6.75 million, he'd be looking over his shoulder right now.
  15. Bummer was good for about a season and a half. Bad things happen when he comes into the game.
  16. He can take Bummer with him. But Rick Hahn is also a hero to the Bummer family. They owe him at least $6.75 million after this year.
  17. Any chance they send Robert down to learn the coach's names?
  18. You would think with what's beein happening over a year now, they would want to do something for their base. Instead, its just the opposite. It's been before Covid where they really went the extra mile for season ticketholders, so the newer accounts might not notice. But I'm sure the long term people are scratching their heads.
  19. I am so glad I cancelled my partial season tickets. A friend of mine still has them. They used to have parties, and events for season ticketholders, now they are trying to bleed even more money out of them. Like the bad play isn't enough. Apparently, Season Ticketholder "Appreciation" Week is coming up. You can be part of a pre game parade around the field. Don't have a ticket to that particular game? The Sox will sell you one. Also if you buy tickets to another game, they will throw in a patio party. However, if you already have a ticket to that game, you will have to pay for the patio party. What in the wide wide world of sports is going on over there?
  20. Despite the results, he's right, everyone else is wrong. I wonder how those ladies felt sitting up their after just purchasing the teams, having new ideas instead of thinking it's still 1981, and Jerry up there basically saying new people are clueless. I wonder if Jerry ever figured out the woman owning a women's soccer team has more season ticketholders than he does.
  21. Festivus must be a week long event at the Reinsdorf home. Jerry seems to want to air a lot of grievances. He calls other owners dumb, yet has a bloated payroll and an 8-21 record after 81-81 during his sustained winning time.
