  1. White Sox pitchers have fanned 14 or more in 8 games this year. They have lost every game.
  2. Normally I would agree with you, but this has a different feel. I dropped out after last season. I know a few who gave it one more shot. During the rebuild and most of the time they were mired in mediocrity, they treated their season ticketholders like royalty. No more. Now they think they are doing you the favor by selling you tickets to watch their AAA product. I think 1.3 to 1.4 is not only possible but probable unless they make some really popular changes. No one has any trust in this front office. Even their boy Bob is taking his shots saying it was the shortest contention window of all time.
  3. I read Everett Teaford, White Sox minor league pitching coordinator left to coach at Auburn. I'm not thinking he was the problem.
  4. The Sox had one of the biggest attendance drops year to year from last year to this year. Next year will be worse. A lot of people were hanging on thinking it was all LaRussa's fault. They will go. JR will trim payroll even more.
  5. Phil Jackson called it the Last Dance at Grant Park celebrating the Bulls 6th championship. People panicked but held out hope Phil was mistaken and they would give it another go until someone showed they could beat them. It wasn't to be. Phil was right, it was over. Who knew on the October night back in 2021 when Leury Garcia hit one over the CF wall to lead the White Sox to victory, avoiding a first round sweep, that it was the White Sox last dance. Please fire these dopes today.
  6. Hahn actually cherry picked the stat that the Sox were 2 games over .500 from a certain date, best in the division. The master of saying nothing is running out of things to say nothing about. Please fire him today. He is the worst GM in baseball, and it isn't much of a contest.
  7. When does the accountability commence?
  8. I don’t think I am going to be able to take 2 games in one day with this broadcast school graduate doing PBP.
  9. This was before Kelly went on the DL, but Bob Nightengale said he would be shocked if all of Giolito, Lynn, Clevinger, Kelly, Graveman and Bummer are not traded.
  10. Hahn showing off all the depth he built.
  11. Rick is still waiting for the team to wake up. He needs to wake up. It isn't happening. The sooner you start clearing tradeable pieces out, the better. They are worth more, and can't get hurt playing meaningless White Sox games. Remember when Hawk as the GM was a bad joke? .444 winning percentage. This team has a .429 winning percentage, and they still think they have a shot.
  12. It's amazing how many games this team loses they should win.
  13. TA has a .507 OPS at home. It’s only the 4th worst in tonight’s line up.
  14. I hope so. He’s easy to cheer for. He plays hard.
  15. With Seby's bat and Yas' legs , I kind of like having 3 catchers.
  16. I'm thinking they saw Frazier out in RF yesterday and finally realized he's not really a defensive replacement. He has to be gone. You could almost see it on his face the last couple of weeks where he looked like he knew he was running out of time.
  17. Since Rick Hahn was GM, and he's one of the longest tenured in the business, the White Sox have had 1 season where the team was better than average and fans could attend games.
  18. If it comes back, I would bet thee is a 99% chance it's in some different form. And the front office won't participate.
  19. Re about your comment JR would not allow another rebuild. I would tend to agree with you, but remember during the seasons of the last , very recent rebuild, JR never made more money.
  20. Pedro interviewed well and told them what they wanted to hear. 1B and DH as RF? That’s great we just need them ready to play. They weren’t going to hire anyone that disagreed with their analysis. They were willing to listen, then dismiss. Larry Himes was hated by JR, he did it a different way. He set the franchise up for sustained success they were unable to sustain before he was fired. When they hired Ozzie, KW and Ozzie will both tell you during his interviews, Ozzie told KW what he was doing wrong. It eventually led to the one year we have all been alive the White Sox ever won a playoff series. When things aren’t working you can continue to do exactly the same thing again and again thinking things will eventually change, but you are going to find out the hard way the change won’t be for the better. With this rebuild, the White Sox got to the point where it was over and they went back to operating like they have operated all the years they failed miserably where going for it, and all in couldn’t get you meaningful games in September. They had 6 starter in the organization, and that was with Kopech not going to be able to go the entire season even if healthy. One of many grounds for termination. And Chris Getz, how come there isn’t anyone in the minor league system that can’t pick up some innings? Since you took the job every quote from you is raving about some player, Someome needs to tell Chris to go coach a travel team or something.
  21. I think they were pretty much stuck, either go total rebuild or try again until the deadline and dump guys then. They probably determined going this way , even if it doesn’t work, was worth a few less ping pong balls in the lottery. The NBA may be finally changing. For years there never were more than a few teams that really had a chance to win the championship or even make the finals. The playoffs will-never be the crapshoot like other sports, but it is getting closer.
  22. I would think at this point the teams main goal is to keep Giolito healthy and effective until they trade him. He’s the one guy that’s going to go that can bring something useful back, unless Cease and Robert and Kopech are available. They don’t have much that will get you a prospect the Sox wouldn’t have to develop too much to be a major league contributor. Anyone they would have to be significantly developed is a blah acquisition because it rarely happens. How the f*** is Rick Hahn still an MLB GM?
  23. I would guess Soxfest is a thing of the past, much like many perks they used to give season ticket holders, that were eliminated using the pandemic as an excuse. They did have season ticket holder appreciation events this year, where season tickeholders could buy more tickets to attend their “appreciation” activities. I think Soxfest is going the way of the Edsel.
  24. Nice. Exit velo is overrated at least today.
