  1. He threw 3 innings in 2020 because he had a sore shoulder. He was a spot starter in college. The point is he has never shown, ever, the ability to be a starter from a physical standpoint. I know you think you are Mr. Trainer and probably could get him throwing 200 innings a year on the right program, but I doubt it. He's always going to be an injury waiting to happen if it hasn't happened. He is what most thought Chris Sale would be. A guy who is always hurt. Sale defied it for a long while, but now, he's always hurt.
  2. He also was hurt in college, and got hurt after pitching a few innings in 2020. Since 2019, he's pitched 81 innings in college, the majors and rehab stints, and he's hurt again It wasn't the Sox fault he was hurt at Tennessee. I guess you can blame them for his injury in 2020, but I fail to see if he was at the alternate site throwing enough to be a starteer, how he would have stayed healthy.
  3. Bobs notes, The White Sox picked up zero cash in their trades. A couple veterans complained about lack of accountability on the White Sox. Aaron Bummer is off limits. And Tony LaRussa is back evaluating minor leaguers. Accountability isn’t t a probelm as we all know. As much as I dislike Tony, I am glad he is healthy again.
  4. 70 innings under his belt, at least 3 injuries. Was hurt his last season in college as well. How in the world would he be able to hold up as a starter
  5. When the Sox were good in 2021, they walked a lot. A good percentage of that was Yaz walking at a ridiculous rate, but still. I wonder if any team has gone from that to what they have become, not walking, high chase rate, so quickly. Especially with most of the same players.
  6. Kiley McDaniel was on the flagship earlier. He ha Montgomery as one of the top 10 prospects in the game now and likes the guys the Sox just acquired he , who ranked the system last last season and 26th at the beginning of this, 12th currently.
  7. This is all true but really weird. A. You would think the fact you get more bang for your buck developing players would appeal to JR. B. He fired Roland Hemond after an 85 win season because the minor league cupboard was bare, and it cost them any chance at the 85 playoffs. Now he just doesn't give a f*** how bad the minor league system is.
  8. The issue with Nastrini is walks, something the Sox aren’t known for fixing, The issue with Lee is chasing, something the Sox aren’t known for fixing. Maybe something will change.
  9. He supposedly has a rocket arm. He will be with the White Sox next week. I really think if they can't trade Yaz, they will release him.
  10. I just think if KW was driving the bus on these deals, it would be an easy leak for a Rosenthal or Morosi.
  11. He's hitting .155 and making almost $1.5 million. He's doing OK.
  12. Are the Dodgers looking at a 40 man roster crunch this coming offseason?
  13. It's true. Someone here posted it, and I was like you, how can that be possible? So I looked it up. It's possible.
  14. The Sox payroll is double Cleveland's. JR has been cheap, but Rick has spent money foolishly. It's not the reason the team sucks.
  15. Reading some of these are funny. White Sox fans and prospects are like Bears fans and back up QBs. They are almost all awesome until they actually have to play for the team.
  16. If the Sox lose tonight, it will be the 2nd at least 7 game losing streak of the season They have had a total of two 7 game winning streaks in the 11 years Rick Hahn has been GM. Can you fire him today?
  17. I understand where they were going when they fired Ricky, and LaRussa was not the answer But there is no question Ricky is better than Pedro. It isn't even close.
  18. That's a good question. I would return if they fielded a team worthy of me spending money on it would be the answer, but that would require new decision makers as I don't trust anyone they have in place to get the team to sustained winning That probably requires an ownership change. We have all seen this movie before. Several times. Always ends the same except once.
  19. A play like that and a throw home on a flyball with no chance. at runner advancement, is acceptable to miss the cutoff man. You have no shot if you throw to him.
  20. Franconia is smart. If Seby is hitting you, it's time to call it a night.
  21. ISantos was a good find but if some team is willing to give up something useful, I'd get rid of him.
  22. There is always a possibility Moncada moves back to 2B. He supposedly isn't opposed. But they would wait until the offseason. 2B might be a little easier on his back.
