    No way on Theo. JR would never pay him, and Theo knows JR won’t commit enough cash to be big time. But I do agree with the rest. Letting KW and RH trade players after watching what they have done with this rebuild, is beyond insane.

    I posted after the first, watching their approaches, I thought 2 runs was the max tonight, but was really thinking 0 or 1. Eloy had a good game, and Benitendi did as well.

    The White Sox can’t be clueless that they have a real bad team. The record sucks. They seem content not to get swept. The season is almost half over and they have had very few games that they won pretty easily.

    JR almost choked when he gave Michael Jordan, a guy that literally made him hundreds of millions $30 million for 1 year. He isn't going to pay Ohtani what it takes, and from what Ozzie hears, he has no chance anyways. Ohtani wouldn't mind playing for the Cubs, but thinks it's too cold in Chicago.

    Hahn was talking about digging themselves out of a hole. If you fell into a hole, would you ask for a shovel to get out? Digging gets you a deeper hole.

    Himes also drafted Ray Durham. He could actually play 2B.

    The one time JR went out of his comfort zone and hired Larry Himes, it set the team up for years. He wound up hating Himes because Larry didn't want JR meddling. He has to see his way doesn't work.

    They were already crying about the Sox "tough schedule" after the All Star break. Do playoff teams have everyone associated with them always point out stretches when they are playing good teams? If you can't beat a good team, how are you going to do in the playoffs?

    My dad is a lawyer and he told me all about this years ago. If JR dies, the executor of his estate gets his power. These other partners have zero say officially. JR might take their advise, but he's under no obligation.

    Reinforcing mediocrity. That's Rick's specialty. This current roster has been bad for a far longer time than it was good. Even when it was good, it was short. They can't be this dumb. They have to know, don't they?
