  1. Their Chicago HQ is right across the river from my office. They have a bar on the top floor with no cash register. Even though their brands aren't my favorites, it's always been a goal to go up there.
  2. Modelo signed up with the Sox before InBev.
  3. That would be a damn shame. This whole thing is weird and last second. A couple of weeks ago, they had on the website a return of Bleachers and Beers, and if you wanted to could get tickets. That has been totally scrubbed. Maybe it will come back with the new sponsor.
  4. Rev spokesman said it was a White Sox decision not to move forward. They probably promised their space to Molson/Coors.
  5. I just hope they still have Modelo conveniently located all over the park. The Modelo draft is hard to beat.
  6. They have Coke. Maybe they need to switch to Pepsi.
  7. Rev is gone. https://chicago.eater.com/2022/3/28/22999932/white-sox-goose-island-revolution-brewing-beer-sponsors-guaranteed-rate-field
  8. Unless LaRussa has been eyeing him, and let's face it, if he was and wants him to play RF, he's no White Sox fan, you still can take fliers on guys. He was drafted very high, and started out OK. Change of scenery might be good.
  9. Does he have options left? If he does and it doesn't cost much, it's a fine pick up.
  10. You want a real RF. You. Are. NOT. A. White Sox. Fan.
  11. OK Tony. Almost daily, I am reminded why I was so glad Hawk fired him.
  12. Here's the thing, when Vaughn plays 1B, he dives for balls. Diving on grass, especially the grass in a major league park if you walk on it, is a lot softer than diving on the dirt. Whether he should play RF is a good question, I just think the injury wasn't based on his inexperience as much as it was just unlucky. Looks like they dodged a bullet.
  13. Micker probably just made the opening day roster. If he makes the opening day line up, I am calling 3 k's and a long one.
  14. It would be funny to see the reaction in a gamethread if Robert was running after a ball, looked like he had a decent shot, but pulled up so he wouldn't get hurt. I doubt it would be positive.
  15. If you recall in spring training 2005, it was thought Buehrle broke his foot and was going to miss significant time. Another exam, however, revealed he was fine, and he won on Opening Day 1-0. Perhaps the luck has returned.
  16. For the record, I was first in with hip pointer. If you guys need any other inside info, just remember, I am not Steve Cishek.
  17. That's what I was thinking when they didn't have an answer yet. The only thing that may save it, is they just want to make sure, but it's not looking good for a quick recovery.
  18. Good thing they agreed before Vaughn got hurt, becuase if he's out a while, there is nothing Tony would have loved more than penciling in Albert in the 4 hole.
  19. JR's nightmare. Of all positions needing a replacement. If TA got hurt, getting a decent SS now would be tough. Pretty much the same with any other position . But not RF.
  20. That is exactly how it went down with me when I had a hip pointer. It was almost a delayed reaction like when you stub your toe and it takes a couple of seconds to hurt. But if all he had was a hip pointer, we would most likely know by now.
  21. Has anyone had any luck with Brooks or Reifert to get the ball rolling to send this guy packing?
