Manaea to Padres, Sox were in on him
I am thinking Oakland thinks less of White Sox prospects than even the people who rank them near the bottom. Bassitt or this one withe the prospect capital going back is a no brainer. So it's either that or the Sox are tapped out budget wise.

Kimbrel traded for AJ Pollock
I mentioned this a couple of years ago. The Sox and DBacks used to do a lot of deals when they shared in Tucson.

Kimbrel traded for AJ Pollock
How come you aren't bitching about Lance Lynn? He's older than Kimbrel.
-
Kimbrel traded for AJ Pollock
His last 20 gamezwith the Sox his wrc+ was 171. Total cherry picking, but he was coming along pretty nicely.

Kimbrel traded for AJ Pollock
Should be, but remember they would have had $15 million to play with. It's not a bad return especially since the clock was ticking.

Kimbrel traded for AJ Pollock
So the Dodgers were offering Bellinger?
-
Kimbrel traded for AJ Pollock
So within 4 days after Tony LaRussa said people who think the Sox need to go outside the organization for an OF are not White Sox fans, the Sox made 2 trades for OFs. You can't make this shit up.

Kimbrel traded for AJ Pollock
Another OF? Rick Hahn is clearly not a White Sox fan.

Crochet having Tommy John surgery Tuesday
If he can't hold up as a reliever, how could he possibly hold up as a starter?
-
Crochet having Tommy John surgery Tuesday
He was hurt in 2020 after throwing 7 innings. This was inevitable IMO. Making him a starter was always a pipedream , but he can still be very valuable in the bullpen if he can stay healthy.

Offseason Part 3 - Because Part 2 Was a Dud
The problem with trading Kimbrel now is you are only going to get pennies on the dollar. If he's doing well, a team will want him, but then, why give him up? A contending team isn't going to give up a contributor. If he is doing poorly, it would be a salary dump. Total market misread amateurs like me saw coming from miles away.

Weeknight start times to be 6:10 pm !… what genius came up with this one??
When you get later into May, the 6:10 games suck because they can barely see half the game. I would imagine with more people working from home than ever before, and most probably will never return to the office 5 days a week, 610 starts aren't as difficult during the week as before the pandemic.

Offseason Part 3 - Because Part 2 Was a Dud
So I guess you tell their GM, you're going to trade this guy eventually.

Will This Team Win a Playoff Series Poll
Any playoff team can win a series except for Minnesota. I don't think they can win a postseason game anymore.
- Conforto hurt

Molson Coors new Sox domestic beer partner
Apparently their offer to the Sox was so good, the Sox didn’t even ask InBev to counter.

I like the singing beer vendor best. We all work in a yellow shirt all day, a yellow shirt all day, a yellow shirt all day.

Since Reifert and Brooks don't seem to hear our calls to terminate Hahn, I am with you, they need to be terminated. Who do we contact demanding their ouster?

Get the double cheeseburger at that stand. Best 6.00 double cheeseburger in Chicago.

I think its only for April.

Offseason Part 3 - Because Part 2 Was a Dud
I think Rodon should dominate as long as he is healthy. The question is how long will that last? Probably long enough for a QO, but Craig Kimbrel.

OF Help at last!! White Sox acquire Haseley from Phils
I think Mahomes has only had 1 or 2 bad games in his career.

OF Help at last!! White Sox acquire Haseley from Phils
Hamstring not good. The Sox lead the league in hamstring injuries the last 4 seasons.

Molson Coors new Sox domestic beer partner
Hamms is a Molson Coors brand. Maybe they will sell drafts.
