Sox vs Jays 4/3 Gamethread. 1:10 pm start
Don't mind it at all. If you're starters suck, openers are the way to go.

Schultz gets the call, Antonacci up too!
Bring him up now. He's got a much better chance hitting Cease than the rest of these clowns.

Paez DFA'd, Sims called up
Last year it worked out, but counting on Rule 5 guys to build a winner usually doesn't work.

Schriffen speaks...
I think if Ishbia gets a bigger voice, and he should, this won't be allowed to continue.

Schriffen speaks...
I'm sure if he was my next door neighbor, I would really like him. Seems like a nice guy, loves dogs, must be bright. He went to Dartmouth. I agree with the poster above, his baseball knowledge isn't one of 30 jobs in country up to snuff. And i agree with the promoter first, announcer second analysis. Harry Caray was a promoter, but he gave his audience a little credit. Schriff either thinks the audience is really dumb, or perhaps he doesn't understand bad baseball when he sees it. I do think his South side stand up line was genius if used correctly. His first time using it was a spring training game in a year they set the MLB record for losses. If the Sox were good, we'd all be saying it. He was put in a bad place. Horrible team, replacing someone very popular...but he isn't the guy. I think they know that, but these guys cost money, so they probably are waiting for his contract to end.

AND THAT'S A WHITE SOX WINNER!
Always nice to win.

Official 2026 win prediction thread.
1-2 would have been fine, but 0-3 it is. The first 2 games, they were bad at every phase. Exploded for 7 runs the first 3 innings in game 3, but as happens so many times with so many teams, a ton of runs early often leads to not much later. No runs on 3 hits the last 6 innings. Too many strikeouts. Mune can fan. To me, he's kind of a young version of Jim Thome. Plays the infiled corners, but not very well. Ridicuolous power. Fans a ton, but looks like he will walk a ton too. His last AB though has me a little leery. He was blown away. Of course, that pitcher has blown away a lot of great hitters, but Mune was awfully late on strike 3.

Lock out 2027
You can look at how he runs he Bulls and figure out what he would do with the Sox, with one exception. The Bulls, even when horrible, draw like the Cubs, and he refuses to reward them by ever getting in luxury tax territory. One reason the Sox never had sustained success is because JR refused to pay the price.

Sox at Brewers 3/29, 1:10 CT
Those teams sucked. But why does that make how the White Sox played in Milwaukee acceptable?
