Official 2026 win prediction thread.
1-2 would have been fine, but 0-3 it is. The first 2 games, they were bad at every phase. Exploded for 7 runs the first 3 innings in game 3, but as happens so many times with so many teams, a ton of runs early often leads to not much later. No runs on 3 hits the last 6 innings. Too many strikeouts. Mune can fan. To me, he's kind of a young version of Jim Thome. Plays the infiled corners, but not very well. Ridicuolous power. Fans a ton, but looks like he will walk a ton too. His last AB though has me a little leery. He was blown away. Of course, that pitcher has blown away a lot of great hitters, but Mune was awfully late on strike 3.

Lock out 2027
You can look at how he runs he Bulls and figure out what he would do with the Sox, with one exception. The Bulls, even when horrible, draw like the Cubs, and he refuses to reward them by ever getting in luxury tax territory. One reason the Sox never had sustained success is because JR refused to pay the price.

Sox at Brewers 3/29, 1:10 CT
Those teams sucked. But why does that make how the White Sox played in Milwaukee acceptable?

Put up time...
They have their best 2 starters going this serires. 2 out of 3 needs to happen. A sweep would be divine.

White Sox 2026 City Connect ranked 9th
I saw one yesterday and it was a Frank Thomas. I lmao.

Lock out 2027
A salary cap would not have helped the Sox at all under JR's reign of terror.

I went to yesterday's game. Took the Amtrak to MKE. On the way home, a Sox fan sitting by us swore this is one of the worst Sox teams ever. Mune to me makes them more watchable as does Montgomery. Meidroth has a chance to be a fun guy to watch, and I really like Teel, and Hays. He agreed but his though is based on the pitching he deemed to be the worst he's seen in 50 years. At least there are some potential good ones in the wings.

Lock out 2027
I've always had a thought about salary caps where the players you sign or draft and develop don't count against it. Only other teams free agents. So the owners get a little something. The players still can get paid if the say with their original team, or they even mess with that a bit and say a specific service time with a team waives it.

Fire Chris Getz
When he was hired, JR was the only owner who would hire him as a GM. 2 years and 7 or 8 months later, it's still the case.

Davis Martin is probably the best Sox starter. Why didint he pitch in the first series?

I believe the word you used fot the bullpen was special. It's not.

I wonder how many times a team has lead 4 to 0 after 4 batters and lost.

3/26 Opening Day: Sox@Brewers, Smith vs Misiorowski, 1:05 CHSN
At least with the day off tomorrow, these relievers should be rested enough to get lit up again.

3/26 Opening Day: Sox@Brewers, Smith vs Misiorowski, 1:05 CHSN
I wonder what the MLB record is for the amount of pitchers on one team with ERAs over 0.00 after one game.

You normally don't get this in one day, but we have found out today, Ethan Katz was clearly the probllem.

It's almost as if he's thinking, build me a park, then maybe I'll try.

3/26 Opening Day: Sox@Brewers, Smith vs Misiorowski, 1:05 CHSN
I wish JR would look at this and the past several years, a stretch were there was supposed to be multiple championships, and finally realize his way doesn't work anymore. Time to step aside.

All Hicks needs is a little more exposure to Brian Bannister and the rest of the coaches.

I kind of figured today wouldn't be much of a game. Hopefully Saturday they play better against someone they actually could beat.

Vargas doing his Aaron Judge impression.

3/26 Opening Day: Sox@Brewers, Smith vs Misiorowski, 1:05 CHSN
What he's been able to do has been miraculous. He's taken a 101 loss team, and in 2 short years, made them a 102 loss team. Not many have done that. Only 6 other AL teams have been able to lose 100 games 3 consecutive seasons. Now he's going for something that hasn't been accomplished in 90 years....4 100 loss seasons in a row.

Skenes didn't get out of the 1st today with bad defense. Obviously Smith isn't in his class, but I wouldn't panic on him yet.

The good news is the Mis isn't going to last much longer.

“The 78” + "The Railyard" = the future of the Sox and Fire
You should pass that along to the Big Hurt's lawyers.
