  1. Ran the D Backs into the ground. Helped Dombrowski get fired in Boston, and the Angels are the Angels. Maybe just maybe he isn’t the baseball genius JR thinks he is.
  2. According to the broadcast, except for Robert, every hitter is redhot. Every pitcher is nails, and they are somehow on a 49 win pace. This organization totally sucks.
  3. Pkesac is fine but you would think by game 6 he would know the CF last name.
  4. There is a technicality that they have to be full price tickets. So when they give a Family Sunday discount or some other sale, those tickets do not count toward the total.
  5. If JR doesn't allow people to do their jobs, and Getz worked for him for 6 or 7 years so he would know, why would he want the Sox GM job? JR is awful, but he can be overcome. See Himes, Larry.
  6. Who was the Minor League Director for a good portion of Hahns tenure? This is the issue. The guy has had his chance and he failed upward You need to be pretty drunk to think he is the guy that is going to fix this. Now, they compare everything to last year. The most losses in the history of modern baseball. And a slight uptick has some excited. They are a garbage organization.
  7. I agree. He's not worth the plane fare to Charlotte. But I'm also not going to be upset about what they get for Matt Thaiss.
  8. I hope the White Sox are right because when this guy is clicking, he's insanely good.
  9. Maybe that's JR's plan. Get this team so bad, people get excited about being "mired in mediocrity". Its' a lot easier than shooting for 2nd place.
  10. I didn’t see much of the game, watched a bit over the weekend and kept hearing on the broadcast how great the hitters are, how great the pitching is, how great the prospects are, and on top of that, maybe the greatest coaches ever assembled. How are they 17-37?
  11. What I don’t understand is if they think his mechanics are the issue, since he already had TJS in high school, why would they let it get to this point before they tried to do something about them?
  12. I’m old enough to remember when Marco Paddy was the savior. The more things change, the more they stay the same. There is one change that will help, and that doesn’t seem imminent.
  13. Still very concerning. We have already seen several nothing to see here moments only to ultimately turn into major surgery. His velo is dipping and his elbow hurts. Something is wrong.
  14. And they just keep doing it. I think a lot of it has to do with LaRussa. He loved to play guys where they didn't play. He once put Ron Kittle in CF.
  15. What Sox fans are so ingrateful. 116-255 is a perfectly fine record, and the organization should be proud. Now regarding Vargas, he’s played really well lately. Hopefully he can keep it up. Clearly what was getting him out before isn’t now.
  16. The city can’t pay their bills as it is. If you think they will give anything to the White Sox, you haven’t payed attention. The Sox only hope is that the state give them money. That’s a firm no, especially now with no idea what their pools of federal government funds will be for with states that didn’t vote for the current administration. JR is either going to have to build it himself or make a deal with Ishbia to build it for him.
  17. Nothing makes sense. How do you develop not getting chances, the one thing not being a good team should give players?
  18. It’s like most restaurants that post under new management signs. Most still suck.
  19. If scouting were such an exact science, Juan Soto and Fernando Tatis Jr. would have signed for a lot more, and several more would have received a lot less. But I’m certainly glad you are satisfied with the White Sox international operations. The fact is, there were players available at some point, but the White Sox are always holding on to a decent size of their allotment. The strategy hasn’t work other than for JRs bloated wallet.
  20. If the requirement is that someone has to build the Sox a new park, there is no way Arlington Heights is going to build them a new park.
  21. First off, if true all the players are signed, with this organization, having $500k left over is a fucking joke. Second, I’d take the chances of someone “popping up” over a 30 year old often hurt, can’t throw strikes reliever ever becoming viable.
  22. Hahn must be trying to get a Job with MLBN.
  23. Good to see the Sox giving up some bonus pool money. No need to spend it when you can spend it on waiver claims of 28-30 year olds.
  24. Since they are playing the Reds, this may be appropriate here, supposedly, Shoeless Joe and Charlie Hustle are now both eligible for the HOF.
