  1. The biggest problem with the OF is I really liked the Austin Hays signing. So he will suck.
  2. I find the signing odd, but it appears to be just a Teel replacement or wouldn't they have signed McGwire to an MLB contract in the winter before he had to settle for a minor league contract? So, once Teel comes back, which is spupposedly 4 weeks, either Quero gets traded or they wind up paying this dope $1.2 million for one month as a back up. Seems very un JR like.
  3. Not to mention recently AJ.
  4. If he was a real friend, he would have stayed with T Mobile. Dump his ass.
  5. I'm going on Sunday. Get to a game and not give JR any money is the goal. Passan has the Sox at 101 losses.
  6. Plus, assuming he hasn't hit it yet,, he's less than 5 years from a full MLB pension which is around $290k a year.
  7. Its funny, I saw another r commercial for another personal injury firm. Their number is 800 222-2222. Lerner and Rowe are 708 222-2222, so they are probably getting a lot of calls intended for them.
  8. Corboy and Demitri are personal injury lawyers. Were Lerner and Rowe not available? All joking aside, whether this is frivolous or not, its an embarrassment the Sox don't need with the best player they may have ever had. Certainly the best since JR took over.
  9. Now Frank's saying the White Sox have to stay out of Frank Thomas business.
  10. I'm guessing this will end any chance of Frank appearing on the pre and post game shows again.
  11. Maybe Getz trades Lee to Pittsburgh for Clevinger. This time could be the charm.
  12. Losing Lee is no big deal obviously, and it's possible no one claims him. No one else seemed to want Spanky,, and they Sox made him their highest paid backstop. It just seems odd to me. Why hang on to him until now if you didn't want him? Did they really think he may get better at the things they didn't like about him during the winter?
  13. If they don't like the way Lee works with pitchers, they can't have him in AAA working with their better prospects. That would make zero sense.
  14. If doesn’t seem to make sense, but something must be about to happen that will make it make sense.
  15. I think people take spring training stats way too seriously both bad and good. But obviously would prefer to have them good. He will probably be what he has always been.
  16. The Sox will be simulcasting 10 games on the U channel 26 this year for those of you who don't get their station and the opportunity to hear the Schriff 162 times a year.
  17. Hitting the ball into the river would be nice.
  18. I wonder if he would build the ballpark there or leave the park in the 78 and build the "village" and parking in the land he just bought. I wish JR would just give him total control right now under the premise of can't waste 4 or 5 years. JR should understand that.
  19. Its too bad, but the bright side is, if this was inevitable, having it done now is probably best. Non contention in 2026 and probably some sort of stoppage next season for at least a little while isn't bad. Hopefully he returns better than ever.
  20. Why don't you ever give JR his due. He's the only owner who ever would have made Chris Getz GM, so according to all of your posts, he got it right.
  21. Nothing is Getz' fault. Why would somebody be so crazy to put any blame on the player development guy when top prospects fail to live up to their billing?
  22. Quite the indictment of White Sox ownership.
  23. Maybe for the White Sox it is, but putting together a team that might not lose 100 games is far from miraculous in the normal world.
  24. I saw Herbie last fall. 85 years old, former crack addict, and he hops around the stage like 25 year old.
