Mendick should have batted second today I said it earlier. Not that Mendick is all that great but Eloy has no business being there. -

Lack of organizational awareness to detail that defense is important. -

Why is Jimenez batting second and not Mendick? It seems like Renteria is trolling us. -
That makes too much sense. A bubble playoff in November would be awesome as opposed to playing outdoors at the end of October. Follow the NHL model. This is the MLB that won't work.

Detroit will make the playoffs the Sox won't and Hahn will blame injuries, short season and youth. There are numerous at-bats that are just terrible every game where a pitcher does not throw a strike and gets an out or worse a strike out. Yesterday on a 2-0 count Moncada swung at a ball 3 inches off the inside corner and grounded out weakly to third. I do not know if that is player development or what but we have 7 guys in the lineup daily that do that. -
Will be really fucking sad that detroit makes playoffs over white sox. They should just not have a hitting coach as the shitty approach never changes.

My main current COVID issue is how people cannot grasp the concept of risk mitigation. All any practice is trying to do is limit the spread. Closing a beach because there are 500 people on top of one another is vastly different than a restaurant that is asked to try their best to be socially distant.

It is becoming more and more apparent to me that the white sox still believe that everything is done by feel and why organizations like cleveland and minnesote will beat them consistnely. Th white sox will have three guys swing for the fences to end this game in the 10th Heuer to me is a better option than Colome

Watching the Indians and Brewers you see an organizational philosophy at play especially with how a pitching staff is constructed and used, With the White Sox it still seems like a simplistic approach that mirrros baseball in the 70s, I think the game has passed Cooper and Renteria by. The way the Brewers currently use Burnes is how Rodon should have been used this year. Instead you get the cookie cutter Cooper useage. Let the starter go 100 pitches before looking at potential matchups.

The White Sox offense is to blame. Terrible at bats all game. Bieber may strike out 20 tomorrow while throwing under 100 pitches. -
I agree with you but in Renteria's defense he should have had 2 out and nobody on in the 5th. Someone should have been up in the pen. Gio is painful to watch pitch. Seems like every inning is 30 minutes and every count goes 3-2 with a WHIP of 2+

Rodon leaves game early, Dunning next up?

Should use an opener for Cease to limit stacking lefties against him. -
What a difference a week and 3 days in Kansas City make.

I kept forgetting about Nomar and now I forgot about Anderson. Stone Pony all that lineup needs is Yaz....Mercy.

I live 5 miles from GR been sunny all day. Odd

He warmed up may as well use him.

Last 4 guys saw 9 total pitches. Team has a ways to go.

Nick M now electing to play.....this team needs a Kopech miracle.

The hitting is as bad as the starting pitching right now. They have 2 walks in this series through 25 innings.

2020 College Football thread

My point was more about enrollment. Smaller schools use sports to attract students. I do not believe the Ivy League needs this. Ivy league schools can drop sports enrollment will not move at all. I think certain schools are dropping sports under the guise of COVID because it is easier. -
Need to get out of the first inning unscathed.
