  1. Word on the street is that the feds may hammer at jesse jr and rahmn in the next Blago trial to keep them out of the running for the mayoral position. Wess also may getting his walking papers.
  2. QUOTE (LittleHurt05 @ Sep 9, 2010 -> 02:22 PM) 5-9 batters are 0-30 over the last two games That'll win you some ball games.
  3. QUOTE (pittshoganerkoff @ Sep 9, 2010 -> 02:07 PM) So Lillibridge is in at 2nd. Maybe he should have just hit instead of Kotsay. LHH/RHP RHH/LHP The only stat that guillen understands
  4. QUOTE (pittshoganerkoff @ Sep 9, 2010 -> 02:06 PM) I guess so... I was not serious.
  5. Hey three of the four base runners the Sox have gotten in 8 innings have scored. Can't argue with that production.
  6. Teahen is a better hitter than Kotsay Ramirez has really fallen off as well.
  7. QUOTE (elrockinMT @ Sep 9, 2010 -> 01:53 PM) You are way to harsh on CQ and JD Peolpe fail to realize that at this time last year the White Sox were ahead ofthe Twins in the division
  8. falling behind on hitters is never good unless you are falling behind White Sox hitters who feel the need to swing at anything close
  9. Quentin has turned into the 2009 version Jermaine Dye. If he did not have Konerko and Rios hitting ahead of him to get him the RBI he would be no better than Andrew Jones offensively without he abiltiy to play defense...and actually become a liability on defense.
  10. this is where the twins would come back to tie this game...the sox.....three outs without the ball leaving the infield on 9 pitches.
  11. Now we can hear about how tiring a raod trip this was and how they were exhausted after the Boston series and the doubleheader caught up to them. Bonderman and Porcello have been hit hard all year.....they need to get it going.......has anyone other than Omar homered since the Cleveland series?
  12. QUOTE (LittleHurt05 @ Sep 9, 2010 -> 12:21 PM) Alright offense, gotta step it up here. They haven't done anything this whole series.
  13. QUOTE (fathom @ Sep 9, 2010 -> 12:18 PM) This team looks completely dead. All of our pitchers seem to have hit the wall as well, as everyone's velocity has been down. Sale needs to be shut down for season if we are 6 or 7 out after Twins series. He threw 144 innings last year and is at about 130 for this year if I heard a Cooper interview on teh SCORE correctly last week.
  14. Floyd has really struggled lately and it appears to be so again. He seems to throw 20 pitches an inning even when he retires the side in order.
  15. QUOTE (kitekrazy @ Sep 9, 2010 -> 12:11 PM) I thought this team would only win about 75 games this year. I haven't gotten too upset over this season since they exceeded my expectations. It's been awhile since the Sox have put together nice winning streaks. They dug too deep of a hole to crawl out of when the season started. The first few weeks of the season were bad I think they were soemthing like 5-14 after that they played .500 ball for a few more weeks and then got red hot. The part of the season that is frustrating was the month of August as they seemed to loss too many games that they shoudl not have. They overcame the poor early start.
  16. QUOTE (Disco72 @ Sep 7, 2010 -> 10:17 PM) Nobody posting yet on Sons of Anarchy? Wow...what a season opener! Some stuff I never expected. This season looks absolutely incredible. I am liking Jax as a badass should be good.
  17. The Sox went on a 10 game road trip while the Twins played 9 at home. If after this trip the end result is a loss of .5 game and going 8-2 you can not ask for anything more. If the Twins play .900 ball all you can do is laugh and hope the Sox finish strong. My silver lining is I think thsi team will be really good next year. I hope they can get a .5 game today and one over the weekend and g ofrom there. The Twins are great at home but can be beat on the road.....let's hope so.
  18. QUOTE (southsider2k5 @ Sep 9, 2010 -> 09:40 AM) But being banned, now that is f***ing hilarious. Thank you.
  19. I love that when people talk about injuries Jake Peavy seems to not come up in the conversation.
  20. QUOTE (Willy52 @ Sep 8, 2010 -> 10:20 AM) Why don't you people admit that they're the better team? They're in first without Morneau. Pretty damn impressive. They beat up on the division unlike us. We're not catching them. End of story. Cool, now I do not have to watch anymore. Thanks and see you next spring.
  21. Beckham swings at a ball he could do nothing with....
  22. He swung at ball four
  23. Why can't they look at one strike?
  24. Make him throw strikes. Wanna know why the Twins win and beat the Sox. Aj should have been 3-0 instead he hacks away just misses a HR and there are now two outs. Coke did not throw a strike the Twins scored off Coke and Perry to win a game by letting pitches hit them and take walks. Should be two on and one out.
  25. Konerko is getting the day off as he played a doubleheader yesterday. I guess he could put Manny in left and sit Pierre.
