Jaylon Johnson is awful right now. If hes not healthy I guess its a team call. Only guy hes hit is his own guy. This defense is awful right now.

I've been laid up for a bit and meant to start this. I will do so soon. Pluribus is just a different type of show. I am not certain how to explain it but it is worth the watch.

I think he was injured on that illegal hit in Q1 that was nasty. Guy is a gamer. Burden is showing he can't stay on the field and Rome I am not fully sold on.

The stadium thing is really easy. The owners of the Bears do not have the wealth to build the stadium alone. They need assistance or leverage the team. They could save 30% if not more building in Indiana and probably at least 15% building outside of Cook County. If the state is not going to help offset the cost of building in Illinois and Cook v Indiana they will not be playing in Illinois. Indiana having two great domed stadiums while Illinois has no legitimate stadium in the entire state. Illinois pisses away billions on nonsense. This is a no brainer for Illinois and I do not care if Economists say it is not worth it. A good amount of government expenditures are nonsense. I'm Ron Swanson and I approve of this message

Ozark to me was like Lost in that the premise was great but the end game didn't match the build up. Pluribus is an awesome show. I love how it has gone thus far and Gilligan seems to have the story completed before it starts to avoid a bad ending in previous shows.

Anyone see the chip block on Garrett that wiped him out. Was either Kmet or Loveland. Earlier in the year Trapillo was a healthy scratch now he is the starting LT and managing well. I am sure he can be micromanaged to prove me wrong but this staff has coaches that can do their job in places needed. RB, DB, OL those guys are professionals that are getting the best out of their team. Johnson has built a staff that is getting the job done and hopefully sustainable. Johnson and Allen if they can stay on the same page can be an amazing duo. After two weeks the 2025 draft was a disaster now I am not certain Loveland and Burden are not the 2 best receivers on the team, Trapillo is the LT for the foreseeable future and KM one of the top rookie RB in the league. The health of that interior line should not be overlooked as to why we are continually getting better.

White Sox win draft lottery, will pick #1 in 2026
Yes 1&2 is better than 10&1 but I think getting the 1 in 26 looks much more beneficial than the 1 in 25 and 2 in 26. Similar to the Bears getting getting the #1 with a better QB class than the prior year. I am not certain how it will play out but the lottery didn't hurt them as much as I thought. I was unaware about the pool money benefit being a huge difference so that could debunk my our thought process further if I dug deeper.

White Sox win draft lottery, will pick #1 in 2026
I think Vargas hangs around and is a GG 3B (not sure why I think that but I do) and Colson's health is the reason I push him to 1B

White Sox win draft lottery, will pick #1 in 2026
Couple of things. In the end the lottery rules seemed to have favored the White Sox. They got #1 because they were #10 last year and Colorado was bumped. The year they would have had #1 (2025) was an average class and they look to have ended up with a decent enough guy that it did not matter that they moved to 10. C. Montgomery will be at 1B when Roch comes up. As for development Roch sliding in for 2027 (maybe) while Carlson's timeline is 2029 which by then the Meidroth's, Antonacci's and Bonemer will have been figured out. There is a path to not being embarrassing which is something. The brightest thing to me is the timing, if these guys pop will be about the time JR kind of leaves the building and maybe they don't need to be flipped.

MC is 8A. Marist I am not certain of as they didn't win a playoff game this year and that factors into things. Marist is rebuilding and your Crusader victory has them on edge.

They should be better next year and if the players they have in the pipeline stay the future for them is bright. The portal in high school is real.

Bowl games should be CFP play in games if they want to keep them around or get rid of them all together. JMU and Tulane have no business being in the playoff. Miami made it over Virginia to give the ACC a bid. Bama made it over ND. They were not going to penalize Bama for playing in conference championship. ND needs to join a conference or risk this happening annually. They have no business making the CFP this year.

Did you happen to see the 4th quarter of the Bills and Bengals talk about a QB losing it. Caleb needs to be better but it was on the road in a hostile environment. The Packer defense was gassed at that end of the game and had the Bears focused on the run early the results may have been different. I think the Bears passed 5 of their first 6 plays. It was a clunky game but one they easily could have won.

It is still amazing to me that Indiana and Iowa play their HS playoffs indoors and the state of Illinois plays at ISU and/or NIU. Neither facility is much of anything. I do not mean this as a slight to Iowa or Indiana but shows how ass backward the state of Illinois is. The IHSA (athletic body of the high school sports) is the epitome of Illinois bloat, waste and incompetence.

“The 78” is alive and well, moisturized and thriving , Viva La Canal's Edge!
I see your point but he is businessman not some guy spouting off on a fan forum. He knows the risk reward of what he is saying. My guess is he is more aggressive than Ricketts and there is something in the works either renovating New Comiskey or moving somewhere in the Loop area. If the Bears pay off the bonds a 40K seat venue to replace Soldier Field would be ideal. Some form of Chicago leadership to replace Soldier Field with something that could compete with the Bears venue in Arlington Heights while the Sox are main tenant.
