QUOTE (LittleHurt05 @ Sep 9, 2008 -> 12:27 PM) Lineup: OC - SS AJP - C Dye - RF Thome PK - 1b Junior - CF Alexei - 2B Swish - LF Uribe - 3B if AJ is 1-11 lifetime vs. Burnett, shouldnt he be playing the 2nd game instead? There is a leftie going in game number 2. -
Is 312 nights spent at home (about 16 a month) not a question. She was home roughly 55% of the time. I am not really well versed on political work hours.

QUOTE (Tony82087 @ Sep 8, 2008 -> 07:28 PM) Line agianst Detroit tonight. 1.2 IP, 5 H, 9R, 8ER, 2BB, 1K, 3 HR His season ERA stands at 9.32 ACE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! 9 runs on 5 hits and 2 walks there had to be some odd goings on.

It is his right wrist which is not used to generate as much power as the left hence no realation ot Lee's injury als owhy he could come back sooner 4-6 weeks is players. You know what I like (not really like but makes me smirk) the 7 and 8 figure guys in the line-up need to set it up. Cabrera, AJ, Dye, Thome, Griffey, Swisher Uribe, Konerko. Wise is back he'll see some time I bet.

Your current pulse for the 2008 White Sox...

This team could go 20-3. They also could go 7-16. They could win on any given night, they could also get shelled on any given night. I am not sure what this team is and who they are. -
The Brewers suck.

Get a journalism degree, learn how to read a teleprompter and have someone write a nice speech for you and poof you get what you saw Wednesday night. She sounded good but it sounded like a nah nah nah nah speech you hear in school yard telling people I'm rubber your glue whatever you say bounces off of me and sticks to you. Somehow RSO became a Washington elite??? Being from IL I always liked Obama but I had previously liked McCain and was happy he was the nominee. Now with Palin as his running mate I feel that my intelligence is being attacked by the hollywood void of thought that makes us feel we need to back the cubs, care about Bradgelina, spend $$$$ on designer wares and love the NFL and Grey's Anatomy. There is a part of me that really feels a little dumber after her speech, I am not sure why. I would call myself an independent who voted for both Bushes, hated Clinton, but liked both Kerry and Gore. MCCain would have been an option but now I can not even think about it. Somehow Palin seems like personal attack on my intelligence and I am not sure why. She actaully makes me like Hillary Clinton.

Wow was that inning ended quickly. That was a White Soxesque at-bat by Shoppach and Cabrera.

QUOTE (daa84 @ Sep 3, 2008 -> 01:09 PM) good thing we acquired Ken Griffey Jr. Even if he is hurt, you PH Griffey, get the leftie in there and then hit Quentin as they both are suppossedly available to PH. You can then hit Thome for Hall here. Nah, just let Getz get thrown out stealing. Am I the only person that really thinks that this team does care if they win this game? 9 baserunners against three pitchers with ERA's over 5. They may not score against the Angels all weekend.
-
Please pinch hit here so we do not have to see a ground out to second.
-
QUOTE (tommy @ Sep 3, 2008 -> 01:05 PM) I missed most of last night's game, is Jerry Owens injured? Unfortunatly no.
-
Is there a chance this offense can win a game? Boy I didn't see that pitching change coming. Why not PH Griffey or Getz there and then bring up Quentin now? Major league debut for Rudles BTW.
-
How about we get 14 runs and see if Linebrink has anything.

QUOTE (Jenks Heat @ Sep 3, 2008 -> 12:56 PM) Somthing makes me think this is going to end up like the 7th inning yesterday about 8-4. My piss poor analysis is probably making ya'll think I am a moron and you are correct but it makes me feel good to be wrong. I like the non-strikeout Jenks BTW. Maybe we'll get to see Haracio Ramirez in the 9th. BTW the Indinas have virtually no bench left.

So Soxtalk can see that Thorton had nothing today yet Ozeroo goes by the seat of his pants......... Again though, you need to score runs.
-
Thorton didn't look good in the 7th......let's see what he can do in the 8th. This game is the exact mirror of the Tampa game it is scary.
-
What's the point of having a pinch runner attempt to steal if the hitter doesn't take a pitch. Sad ab right there. Sox WHIP on the day 1.00 that is really bad. Thank god they can hit home runs.

QUOTE (SoxFan562004 @ Sep 3, 2008 -> 12:41 PM) DJ did pitch 2 scoreless I believe, Ozzie had him start his 3rd inning, which I thought was fine, but didn't seem like anyone was warmed up and when he got into trouble he was stuck Sorry I forgot about that. That makes him unavailable today. Thanks. Also Linebrink's results today are meaningless as it is his first live action since Independence Day or thereabout. If he gets pounded it could be rust. Real bad managerial move either way. McDougal looked pretty good, give him a shot or Jenks for two. I get the feeling Jenks will come in midway through the 8th afte Linebrink gives up a hit and walk and then blow the game.

It actually looks like Guillen is trying to lose in this series with the line-ups and Boone Logan sightings. I understand Carraso didn't look great last night but what the hell. This game is solely on the offense which has scored more than 4 runs twice in the last 12 games.

QUOTE (santo=dorf @ Sep 3, 2008 -> 12:32 PM) Hall's OPS by the month: .526 1.063 .536 .556 .526 .000 yeesh. Why can Owens get the useless start but Phillips could not. I assume Phillps has had more consistent AB's compared to Toby through out the year and the power numbers couldn't be any worse.
-
This team seems to just be mentally weak with walking hitters and having s*** at-bats. Also how many bunt hits have been given up this season. Seems like a-lot.
-
QUOTE (SoxFan562004 @ Sep 3, 2008 -> 12:20 PM) the dreaded leadoff walk, damn This team actually seems like they do not care if they win, Guillen included. I know this is not the case but to leave Josh Fields and Toby Hall in this game is sad. I get the feeling that one of those two will hit for Anderson though the first chance they get.
-
QUOTE (kjshoe04 @ Sep 3, 2008 -> 12:17 PM) Dotel is in. Think maybe we'll see Linebrink in the 8th? Thorton v. the lefties.
-
Why did all hope I had seem to go away in the last five batters in this game. The Indians line-up sucks and if the bullpen can not hold them down that is simply pathetic although yesterday they did not fair to well.
