  1. QUOTE (Kalapse @ Feb 16, 2009 -> 12:30 PM) No, not really, if anything he'll just hurt himself. Hopefully.
  2. QUOTE (Jenksy Cat @ Feb 12, 2009 -> 01:02 PM) anyone know the code for the pre-sale today? Try the ticket password thread
  3. The thing that is getting to me about all of this is these dickweeds think we are that stupid that we believe they are truthful and what not. The not knowing what they were taking and not suing the people that erroneously gave them this stuff. Going on 60 Minutes or before Congress and lying then changing their tune.
  4. QUOTE (whitesoxbrian @ Feb 11, 2009 -> 08:56 PM) Brian Campbell is such a terrible defensive defenseman. Wow. I'll be happy with the W, but Christ, it seemed like he had 8 turnovers. For the money they spent on him especially. I think Havlet is actually playing pretty good 'D' also Huet gives up at least two goals in the third period. Khabby can bail out bad Defense, Huet can not. Seabrook continues to look better and better as well.
  5. QUOTE (Dick Allen @ Feb 9, 2009 -> 10:23 AM) I hope you have 2 accounts. There is a 4 ticket total limit for that series. I read it as 4 per game not 4 for the whole series.
  6. QUOTE (SoxPride56 @ Feb 9, 2009 -> 10:22 AM) I joined that as well for the presale, but haven't received my password yet, have you? You'll get an e-mail the day before telling you that you will get an e-mail with a password the day of the pre-sale. They told me my account had not been paid and it was so be aware of this as well.
  7. 4 for the opener and 4 for Friday cub. There was no 9:00 sale for the high paying folks so the regular full season and 27 gamers all get in at the same time therefore getting better tickets than usual. Now let's hope they are not 15 games under by mid-June.

QUOTE (Tony82087 @ Feb 5, 2009 -> 09:57 AM) Everyone has a role on the island. It was Michael's "destiny" to help save everyone on the freighter(at least those that made it off). Once he did that, he could die. What about Walt? Walt had special "powers" that were never really addressed.

QUOTE (DBAHO @ Feb 5, 2009 -> 09:42 AM) Someone came up with the theory that Miles was Pierre Chang's son. That makes a whole lot of sense to me. Who is Pierre Chang? Also at first I thought the episode was kind of a waste but I am liking the island flashback to get to know what has been going on there. One question, what happened to Bernanrd and the rest of the gang that is the part that I hate that they just disregard. Also how come Walt doesn't have to come back as well as Michael for all to be well with the island again? Is it because Ben let them leave?
  10. Anybody know when the full season ticket holder pre-sale is? I am having e-mail issues.
  11. Maybe if the nephew kept in better touch he could have been privy to the $600K.......
  12. A visit to the latest pedaphile and rape websites are always a hit after light dinner conversation centered around beastiality and incest and how your family enjoys a little of each on the holidays. Nude family photos really will get home your intentions.

QUOTE (daa84 @ Feb 4, 2009 -> 07:50 AM) bear grylls he's a fraud...the other guy......now he's a survivalist. I like Bud Lime myself currently, Harp is always good and a nice dip of Kodiac warms the jaw.
  14. QUOTE (elrockinMT @ Feb 4, 2009 -> 01:26 PM) A young pitcher already showing a penchant for injuries for a stud slugger? No thanks Stud slugger with a greater penchant to injury.
  15. QUOTE (RockRaines @ Feb 4, 2009 -> 11:18 AM) His line has arguably been one of the best of late. I do not think that is even arguable as they play against the opponents top lines and are still arguablythe best offensive line. Ladd is to the forwards as Keith is to the defense.
  16. QUOTE (MexSoxFan#1 @ Feb 4, 2009 -> 10:11 AM) Unfortunatly there were many a bandwagon type fan in attendance that couldn't name you one member of the South Side Hitmen or don't know who Jimmy Piersall is and didn't know that Harry Carey first started his take me out to the ballpark with the White Sox. I better stop watching the Hawks because I am not sure who the PBP man was before Pat Foley and I mean last year not his first go through or the PA address announcer before Gene Honda....crap and I was enjoying them so much. Oh well I better start my fan knowledge enhancement project by Wikipediaing Orval Tessia (sp?)
  17. QUOTE (DBAHO @ Feb 4, 2009 -> 11:21 AM) Ok here's a question. If you were offered Felix Hernandez for Carlos Quentin, what would your response be? Would you ask for Morrow to be included in the deal also (with the Sox likely giving up something back I would think). Yes and Morrow need not be involved. Pitching is harder to find than corner outfielders..see this offseason.
  18. I think the government should buy up everyindividual mortgage out there and set the interest rate at a fixed 4% for 30 years.
  19. QUOTE (RockRaines @ Feb 3, 2009 -> 12:37 PM) sorry for ruining the thread with my posts, its obvious myself, fathom and a few others could have a 100 page thread debating lineups. Beats the shot out of not having anything to talk about
  20. QUOTE (fathom @ Feb 3, 2009 -> 11:54 AM) We have a 3/4/5/6 in our lineup with immense power. Speed is extremely overrated. I hope Ozzeroo agrees with you.
  21. QUOTE (RockRaines @ Feb 3, 2009 -> 11:09 AM) Yup. I dont see any wholesale changes by April unless something really shakes out. And as much as the Dye for Figgins/Bailey/etc keep popping up, im not so sure that JD is the one KW is shopping although I have zero insight on that topic. You are confusing me.
  22. QUOTE (FlaSoxxJim @ Feb 3, 2009 -> 10:04 AM) Pssht, there was a line 2/3 of the way around the place when I drove by this morning. I am simply amazed at what people will go through to get free s*** or what they believe to be a good deal. You would think that cheap worhtless free t-shirts thrown out at sporting events had a value of around $100 the way poeple react.
  23. QUOTE (BigSqwert @ Feb 2, 2009 -> 10:45 AM) Sure you could say all of that after seeing the replay 15 times. In the speed of the game it wasn't as obvious. Which the officials could have done. I think the fact htat it was not reviewed is huge. You add the 15 yards onto the end of the play for the Unsportsmanlike and now the Cards are really in business. To not review it is wrong.
  24. Juan Uribe had a better White Sox career than Joe Crede.
  25. QUOTE (RockRaines @ Jan 30, 2009 -> 01:08 PM) I have to say it. I've been really down on Seabrook pretty much his whole career, but I have seen some improvement out of him this season and may start backing off the trade bandwagon. Funny, I am the complete opposite although he has looked a lot better in the last couple of weeks.
