  1. If Swish is thrown out he looks like an ass now. If Crede GIDP he is berated for not trying ot get in to second. Nice job tied at 5. Just turned it on and read the game thread quickly. Not what I was expecting to see. If they DL Jenks tomorrow as Hawk just said, I will begin to question the decision making of this team.
  2. This means they do not have to do anything until after the ASB as they have 10 days correct? This differs from waivers correct?
  3. Anyone that thinks the Brewers didn't get a steal is so enamored with minor league baseball that they want a better AA team than MLB team. The Brewers were so decimated by the Linebrink trade that still probably have enough talent to get the best reliever out there. If they lose Sheets and Sabathia, they will have 5 of the top 35 picks in the draft next year and will be gettting an ace back in Gallardo. Their AA team is still loaded after this trade. The Brewers could be one of the best teams in baseball for the next few years if they play their cards right.
  4. Sheets and CC are mostly likely not going to be resigned. The rotation will be altered to get them in against the cubs as often as possible even if it means going on 3 days rest. The cubs kill Suppan and Bush.
  5. I was in The Dells the past few days and the Milwaukee papers believe that Milwaukee is best suited to get at least the top two players moved. Their AA team was quoted by a scout as being the deepest team he has ever seen..... They also stated that the cubs have zero prospect talent compared to the Brewers.
  6. I like Vazquez because if he gets his s*** together he can get the K's needed to keep the ball in the park.
  7. That actaully sounds like something out of the Onion.
  8. The was a huge win and a great series win. Bullpen pitched well and Danks may end up being an All-Star.
  9. When was the last time Jenks got a save, June 13th????? Sox, 1 hit in the last 5 innings.
  10. QUOTE (Tony82087 @ Jun 26, 2008 -> 04:45 PM) I see, the Sox are now supposed to do something about previous innings, and also be upset about winning the series. Got it. No I just wished there was more breathing room and less at-bats given away throughout the course of a game so that they are not forced to shut a team out. The wasted opportunites and Joe Crede disaster and the fact that I have to work late because I have been listening to the game and dicking around are giving me a nervous breakdown. I also need to come in early tomorrow in order to leave early to deal with asshole cub fans. Got it.
  11. QUOTE (Tony82087 @ Jun 26, 2008 -> 04:43 PM) It's the bottom of the eighth, and the Sox are up 2. What else do the hitters have to do? Score more than 2 runs in 17 innings.
  12. The Sox batters made that pitcher look much better the 33 previous hitters that had faced him. I am not feeling good about this game as this team seems to have just gone to sleep.
  13. Wow can this offense just up and leave a game.
  14. Dotel is an enigma either K or HR it seems like. Thorton is turning is looking awesome. Ramirez looked really bad there.
  15. Swisher needs to come through as our pitcher is batting 6th today
  16. Sox need some friggin runs. Quentin on for the third time. Anderson's antics in the two spot is killing them...I understand he got on with the error. Quentin SB
  17. Danks with a hit. Maybe he shoudn't have been bunting earlier.
  18. Crede just plain sucks right now. Ahead in the f***ing count and the asswipe can't get it past he mound. Seriously in the cub game and today I think he has struck out five times and grounded into 4 double plays. Oh but he is so clutch.
  19. Torre showing how to manage with the base open. Crede DP to 3B or pop to 2B sounds about par for the course.
  20. Another note in cub game Burres in after being scatched yesterday. Also Lee, Ramirez and Soto out. This was what happened in the Rockie game. Patience gentlemen
  21. I keep turning the radio off after Danks gets in trouble and I watch the Gameday MLB diamond while watching the cubs and Tigers on Gameday. Tigers won in 10. Note on the cub game Liz (Pitcher) & Cintron 0-8 Rest of Orioles 13-23 Neither team been able to capitalize on opportunities in Sox game. Kershaw only at 69 pitches. Guillen should have done what Torre just did last Saturday.
  22. QUOTE (Jenks Heat @ Jun 26, 2008 -> 03:18 PM) Farmer and Stone thought so. I was refering to the Hall single on the bunt no.
  23. QUOTE (fathom @ Jun 26, 2008 -> 03:16 PM) Could Ramirez have scored? Farmer and Stone thought so.
  24. QUOTE (fathom @ Jun 26, 2008 -> 03:15 PM) Can someone explain what happened with the Danks AB? Bunted to move Hall over. Every infielder knew it as they were all charging. Danks didn't run, thought it was foul, the catcher threw to 2B and then to 1B.
