The series is a never ending episode. 1 hour on the 15th and two hours on the 29th to me means there is an episode on the 15th and two hour episode called a finale on the 29th. It is not like an episode is one hour of beginning, middle and end.
  2. QUOTE (chitownsportsfan @ Apr 15, 2008 -> 10:17 PM) Man a Fields/Thome platoon sounds pretty intriguing. Anderson or Ramirez should play CF, with Swisher, Dye or Konekro DH'ing.
  3. Of the 5 losses they were only outplayed in two of them. Last night and Friday's sting a little. Nice game all things considered. Danks ERA a nice 4.32
  4. QUOTE (Jenks Heat @ Apr 15, 2008 -> 03:10 PM) I agree and it is really nice to see them finally taking advantage of this but last night and today the offense seems to be giving away a ton of at-bats. I like the infield pop up.
  5. QUOTE (whitesoxfan101 @ Apr 15, 2008 -> 03:07 PM) "Temporary inplosions" aka walks are the main reason the Sox have scored most of their runs this season, and that is not a crime. I agree and it is really nice to see them finally taking advantage of this but last night and today the offense seems to be giving away a ton of at-bats.
  6. Farmer made that play really entertaining, I have just now realized after the quick K that there are two outs.
  7. This offense is looking pretty bad. The temporary implosion of the A pitcher and a defensive gaff are the only reason any runs have scored. This is a huge inning.
  8. 10 pitch inning Danks at 89 pitches, 8 straight retired. Kirk Sarloos in.
  9. Sounded like a nice catch by Qunitin, not Farmer star material but still sounded got. ugh, 3-0 on Crosby come on John.....nice job
  10. QUOTE (The Ginger Kid @ Apr 15, 2008 -> 01:46 PM) sox flashing leather I was actully working there for a couple of minutes what happened on the 'D' side?
  11. QUOTE (Balta1701 @ Apr 15, 2008 -> 01:36 PM) And Just as I say that, Joe works a 3-1 count and drives in a run. Joe Crede > the 2 rapid swingers in front of him right now. I agree but at least they seemed to have hit the ball hard. Infield pop-up dropped by the A's very unOaklandlike.
  12. Hit JD. I think he needs to be batting third right now.
  13. Effectively wild gets the looking K there. Steve Stone tells us how to change speeds, I always wondered that BTW. Buck with a White Soxesque first swing dribbler to second. Nice inning after all.
  14. Should Ozuna have gotten that? Kind of sounded like it on the radio.
  15. Come Danks come back and get into this count 3-0
  16. QUOTE (daa84 @ Apr 15, 2008 -> 02:20 PM) hawks favorite players of all time: carl yaztremski, george brett, nick swisher Ozuna needs to have a better AB there. Hawks favorite player is Sam McDowell BTW
  17. QUOTE (SoxFan1 @ Apr 15, 2008 -> 02:14 PM) Cansequito. What does that mean?
  18. Well, well, well Lexi with a remarkable recovery, 2B.
  19. QUOTE (daa84 @ Apr 15, 2008 -> 02:09 PM) i wonder if quentin will bunt... In the 7th last night with guys on 1st and 3rd the A's had the shift and Swisher had a 40'lead from third. If Thome bunted it was a guaranteed hit and a run. Quintin that is how you look for a pitch and DO NOT miss it. Nice. Alexi Ramirez just hurt himself and Suzuki swinging the bat. Could we maybe see Brian Anderson...... Why did Ramirez not take a f'ing pitch.....
  20. Crede with a BB. Now Quintin needs to really make this guy work.
  21. Borowski on the DL. Sorry if posted elsewhere. A's taking a page out of the Sox handbook with an infield popout.
