  1. QUOTE (RockRaines @ Jun 16, 2015 -> 02:06 PM) Lets talk about free agency!!!!
  2. QUOTE (LDF @ Jun 16, 2015 -> 12:19 PM) and i will wait till the weekend to discuss this. i want to enjoy the moment. I am not sure if Rock can wait that long.
  3. I am sure its already been discussed in here but how the hell is it that all the Royals are leading these ASG votes? I didn't realize there was a massive Royal nation out there.
  4. I am so tired and drained from work, school, children and everything else that my brain is now mashed potatoes.
  5. QUOTE (Balta1701 @ Jun 15, 2015 -> 04:17 PM) Hi from 3rd row upper deck 3b side upgraded seats TAKE YOUR SHIRT OFF!
  6. QUOTE (Joshua Strong @ Jun 12, 2015 -> 08:38 PM) Don't know where else to post this but I hated the Melky signing when the team announced it and I hate it more and more each day. There is a " I have a bad feeling about this team" thread.
  7. QUOTE (southsider2k5 @ Jun 12, 2015 -> 04:05 PM) Welcome to the post steroid era. Yeah. Whats crazy to me is that its not like they dont have the resources to get bigger, stronger, quicker. The players physical floors shouldnt be as low as what we are seeing. Get your butt in the weight rooms and work on it naturally. of course they wont ever be monsters as they were in the steroid era but they can certainly be better than this.
  8. QUOTE (Jake @ Jun 8, 2015 -> 07:42 PM) Quintana is one of the most valuable trade pieces in the game. Baez is on a fast track to bustville. No thanks. If this is true then you trade him. You need offense and this is a different era of baseball. This is not what we once knew of pitching being a premium. The tables have turned and now dynamic offensive hitters are a premium. Quintana on this team that isn't going to make the playoffs. Quintana has never been a pitcher that he accumulated wins. Get an unbelievable can't miss prospect out if him now before his stock falls so far it's not even a possibility. Because it will.
  9. Oh and I would most certainly trade Quintana for Schwarber. He is exactly what the Sox need right now. It would be a ballsy move and maybe wound up looking really stupid in the end but you have to roll the dice when it comes to obtaining premiere offensive talent.
  10. Not that I would do it but I may think about it. The Sox do well with producing draft picks and under the radar pitchers into useful and sometimes great pitchers. They havent had much luck in producing dynamic offensive power in the lineup through the draft or trading for prospects. Baez has the potential to be something special in power at shortstop.
  11. QUOTE (fathom @ Jun 8, 2015 -> 04:20 PM) Some rumors on twitter the Cubs could be going after Hamels again. My guess is CarGo or Papelbon. carl ‏@barstoolcarl 8h8 hours ago Big trade news for the Cubs today. Hear me now believe me later. Would you do Quintana for Baez?
  12. QUOTE (SoxPride18 @ Jun 8, 2015 -> 04:54 PM) Scott Merkin ‏@scottmerkin 2m2 minutes ago Have heard that a couple of pitchers White Sox are looking at have the chance to help team at some point this season Sox really like to rush the good ones dont they...
  13. QUOTE (southsider2k5 @ Jun 8, 2015 -> 01:07 PM) Chris Boden ‏@CSNBoden 4h4 hours ago #Bears sign 7-yr. vet CB Tracy Porter, who returned INT off Manning for TD in #Saints & Pace Super Bowl win. #BearsTalk That seems like ages ago.
  14. QUOTE (Eminor3rd @ Jun 2, 2015 -> 04:27 PM) If it's not RV, it's KW or JR or DC or freaking Chris Rongey or something. I made a new logo: OOHH OOHH OOHH OOHH Can I have a torch?!

    Grilling

QUOTE (Y2HH @ Jun 2, 2015 -> 07:51 AM) That was likely pigment leakage from the marrow, and completely safe. Usually, the only time you need to worry about "pink" when it comes to poultry is when it's NOT next to bone. So show her science to defeat her unsubstantiated claim you don't know how to grill chicken! The Science: The USDA explains that even fully cooked poultry can sometimes show a pinkish tinge in the meat and juices. Pigment in the bone marrow can color the surrounding tissue and make the bones themselves look very dark. Hemoglobin in the muscles can likewise react with air during cooking to give the meat a pinkish color even after cooking. This is kind of what I tried to explain to her but she is super paranoid about it.

QUOTE (LDF @ Jun 1, 2015 -> 04:52 PM) good chi style Chorizo, mixed in ground beef 50/50 and make homemade chilli. has anyone had this?? damn that sounds too rich for my taste. I love chorizo but a whole bowl of it would bad news for the shipps household.
  19. QUOTE (bmags @ Jun 1, 2015 -> 04:09 PM) Even though I hated the way its handled, find garpax deplorable, and am overall very pessimistic about this bulls team... I'm already excited about Hoiberg. Will be fun to get out and run, even though it won't be as fun if they are losing. I am trying to find a way to s*** on your Hoiberg enthusiasm. Its too soon to have Bulls excitement and I dont think fun should be allowed right now.
  20. QUOTE (Chisoxfn @ Jun 1, 2015 -> 11:44 AM) That is the scenario which gives the Bulls the cap space to go for Love / Aldridge / Gasol. To go for both Love and Aldridge? Is that financially possible?
  21. Sox stranded 9 through 6. This theme was old in 2007 I believe?

    Grilling

I swear to god. Tonight as usual I grilled 11 perfect BBQ chicken thighs and my wife gets the twelve one that has a pink tint on the bone for the one she picked. Therefore I don't know how to grill chicken very well. Lol I can't win.
  23. And the Wedding Planner.
  24. QUOTE (southsider2k5 @ May 29, 2015 -> 02:22 PM) Wade might become a free agent again this summer. I am sure he will be the next to pass up the Bulls. http://probasketballtalk.nbcsports.com/201...-his-departure/ Nah, this time he will sign with them and be the next Richard Hamilton.
  25. I will laugh out the loudest if Hoiberg declines the job.
