I have been of the mind that they'd give Dallas the playoff start over Cease just based on experience, cease being inconsistent and also his stuff playing up in a bullpen role more than kuechels. Obviously, I have changed my tune on that. Theres no way they can start Keuchel over cease at this point. I hope they can find a way to have cease start at home but either way he's won the job. Not sure what role Keuchel will have in the playoffs, if any, but he will definitely be back as a starter for next season and I actually predict a bounceback year. Also, we need to stop scoreboard watching Cleveland and start watching Houston. Having home field in the 1st round would be nice

I don't get Anderson sitting again either, but he he is certainly not punting this game. All season, hes used the whole roster and expects to win with whoever he puts out there. More often than not, it has worked

One small thing I was looking at today, Lance needs 38 1/3 innings to qualify for the ERA title. If he gets 8 more starts that should be gotten easily but 7 or even 6 more is probably more likely as they give rest down the stretch. Not a big deal, and I'm sure Lance could care less but not meeting the innings may cost him some Cy votes.

He was bad at 1st but fine in the outfield. I've found it odd how little they've let him play 3rd since that is his position ostensibly

They DFA'd him for Wright, correct? Seems like they could have held onto him.
