What I think she can hope for is a sentence of time served. I wonder if she will also be subject to sex crimes notification and other measures.

QUOTE(Chisoxfn @ Feb 14, 2007 -> 02:05 PM) Shoot we have like 4 or 5 offices that are closed. While they are relaxing, I'm continuing yet another 12 hr work day. Yep, another 12 hour day, another $600 . . .

QUOTE(southsider2k5 @ Feb 14, 2007 -> 01:52 PM) What is the industry standard for coffee temperature? According to the testimony during the trial, most places serve around 155 degrees. At that temperature it does not scald. At 180 it does. And McDonalds knew of the danger. That's why the jury sided against McDonalds.

QUOTE(RockRaines @ Feb 14, 2007 -> 11:50 AM) It was frivolous, even reading those blogs, the people are retarded. If you make hot soup in your microwave, you spill it on yourself placing it on your lap, do you sue the microwave company? can you sue yourself? If something is served hot, most likely it will be hot. If the world serves coffee at 150 degrees and one company sells it at 180 degrees, isn't that a substantial difference? She had a reasonable expectation that this was "normal" coffee, not superheated.

I hope the party down there removes this person quickly. I know the comments are not in context, but I can't imagine any context that would make it correct. This guy is an embarrasment to the American political process.

QUOTE(southsider2k5 @ Feb 14, 2007 -> 09:36 AM) Charlie Daniels is about the only country music I have ever listened too. He actually is a really nice guy in person. I met him at a county fair show a few years back. Well Texsox likes both kinds of music, Country and Western(1). Country was invented in the good ol' US of A. It isn't some hippy dippy liberal banging banging long haired jungle music Britain invention( 2). That makes Texsox an American and makes you, makes you, well it makes you a fan of far out!(3) References used in the creation of this post. Isn't it cool to know we have the collective ability to destroy our planet and make it inhabitable for humans?

QUOTE(bad at best @ Feb 14, 2007 -> 01:31 AM) I completely agree. Garcia could blow out his arm this year and Gio could win 20 games but i call that luck, not KW being a prophet. Baseball is too random to only judge a trade based on how it works out in the end. I personally judge a trade on the value that KW got for someone. If you consistantly get value in a trade, your chances of "winning" the trade in the end are better. I edited out one statement so I could agree 100%. But one caveat. Value varies by team. Trying to not bring any single trade into this, but if your team needs a closer and you have someone rated a F and can land a B, that is huge value to you. If the other team has two closers, an A and a B and can trade it for a C where they have an F, perhaps both team win, even though a C was traded for a B? Perhaps I am needlessly complicating this, but a player's value can shoot up dramatically by switching teams.

QUOTE(LosMediasBlancas @ Feb 14, 2007 -> 12:54 AM) I'll take Shania Twain. As an example of Southern Rock?? I always thought of Southern Rock as being well, rock. Loud and obnoxious like the General Lee with the Dukes boys jumpin' out the windows. Blaring out of open truck windows by guys with Confederate battle flag bumper stickers. I don't hear Eagles, Little River Band, etc. To me, Sweet Home Alabama is the quintessential southern rock tune. Gives an old man a tear in his eye and young guys an excuse to re fight the civil war. I've been listening to Urge's Southern Rock station and hearing a lot of Dylan as well. And Charlie Daniels, when he was good.

Glad it worked. When anyone asks about upgrading any programs I always ask why? If the previous version is working fine, and you are happy, why change? There are all sorts of potential problems with hardware, conflicts with other programs, etc. It just isn't always worth the hassle. When it is my machine, I always update. I usually like being the crash test dummy for new releases. Beta? Doesn't scare me, send me the alpha release.

QUOTE(Rex Kicka** @ Feb 13, 2007 -> 06:56 PM) Incorrect. Limp Bizkit spent several years chewing Faith No More's worn jock. They were no more southern than they were good. PS. George Thorogood = southern rock. Period. The choice was Shania Twain or Limp Bizkit, I'll take Limp Bizkit

There are a couple really good PC Medics around here who can probably help. Basically IIRC a Codec basically decodes the files. So instead of having a MP3 program, a WMV program, etc. you can have one program that can play multiple formats. My guess would be that your codecs are somehow lost, so Media Player no longer knows how to translate a given extension to something it can play. Why it happened now is another guess. Perhaps it is looking for them here and you have them stored over there Google the error.

QUOTE(southsider2k5 @ Feb 13, 2007 -> 02:48 PM) Why would you post that crap here? There would be a fit if I posted something like that from Rush Limbaugh, or the like, in the Dems thread. Oops sorry. Wrong forum. Die f***ing Iraq bastards!!* *trying to fit in before leaving.

Candidate Biden claims Candidate Obama is "clean". Sounds... nice. But can there be too much of a good thing? The Top 8 Signs a Presidential Candidate Is Too Clean 8> Never went to law school. Enough said. 7> Forget shaking hands; he insists you sanitize your knuckle before he'll give you a fist bump. 6> Her record? A blank piece of paper. 5> His dirty laundry is sorted into neatly stacked misdemeanor, felony and treasonous piles. 4> Constantly refers to Adrian Monk as "that disgusting slob". 3> You can see his teeth sparkling. From 100 yards away. With his mouth closed. 2> His Secretary of State squeaks. and the Number 1 Sign a Presidential Candidate Is Too Clean... 1> Can't score you any weed. QUOTE(CanOfCorn @ Feb 13, 2007 -> 02:33 PM) Ooooh, how I wish I had the cojones or lack of self-respect to have sent something like that to my ex. I don't know if Tex or Soxy have been left for another which ended in a divorce, but "Dan" but down every broken and bitter man's dream to paper. I had to laugh. Actually, I was the one that left, perhaps I might be receiving that letter
