  1. QUOTE(FlaSoxxJim @ Jan 6, 2005 -> 12:58 PM) Cool, that means I'll see him pitch at Dogertown down here in ST. Hopefully he can get back to looking like the 2003 vintage again. Easier to cheer for him in Dodger blue
  2. QUOTE(YASNY @ Jan 6, 2005 -> 09:38 AM) You don't think they'd let someone else control that, do you? My guess it would take a state by state referedum. ASAIK each state can decide who controls elections in their state. In the mean time, at least some law that you cannot be the Chairperson of a Campaign and be overseeing the campaign. Is that too much to ask?
  3. Estaban may be KW finest hours, both coming and going.
  4. QUOTE(southsider2k5 @ Jan 6, 2005 -> 12:46 PM) The San Fransico Giants are doing a whole bunch of auctions to raise funds for Tsunami victims. One of the things being auctioned is a meal for you and 3 friends with Barry Bonds. http://sanfrancisco.giants.mlb.com/NASApp/...ws_sf&fext=.jsp {insert baroid joke here}
  5. QUOTE(LosMediasBlancas @ Jan 6, 2005 -> 12:33 PM) Let me see if I follow here, Scott Boras is one of the premier agents among MLB players. Both he and Maggs know that Maggs 'can't even walk', have been lying about his surgery and medical status, plan to somehow rope a team into giving Maggs millions and millions of dollars, without an exam, only to see him limp out onto the filed in ST. Is that about right? Yes, basically Boras is going to f*** his own career to help Maggs. Yeah right.
  6. Makes a person cut off their tongue and penis?? Wow, that's got to be popular at the Bitter Old Wives store . . .
  7. QUOTE(SoxFan562004 @ Jan 6, 2005 -> 12:33 PM) Handwritten? Boy it sounds like he couldn't even get a lawyer to take this case!! and that's saying something!!! (no offense meant, I should be one in November if the Bar exam goes well) Can't lawyers be held accountable now for bringing frivilous law suits? That might explain it.
  8. QUOTE(mreye @ Jan 6, 2005 -> 10:20 AM) And coffee sweetener? Everyone knows coffee's better black anyway! I like my coffee like I like my women . . . . . . bitter!
  9. QUOTE(southsider2k5 @ Jan 6, 2005 -> 11:44 AM) WTF is wrong with people? TURN IT OFF THEN!!!! Fear Factor has the right to be seen
  10. QUOTE(jasonxctf @ Jan 6, 2005 -> 11:11 AM) On a side note, I also think the great Suburban sprawl will help the party a lot. Younger people like myself that are buying their first house are moving to areas that were typically solid Republican areas. (Batavia-area, Round Lake-area, Plainfield-area, etc) Thus I would expect races in these heavily Republican areas to get closer and closer each year. Interesting you mentioned Round Lake (Lake County). Lake County was the most solidly Republican county in Illinois for most of the last century. They did not re-elect a Democrate to any office between 1900 and 1995. Micky Babcox was coroner for decades despite not being a Doctor. When the laws changed and he was no longer eligible to be coroner, they elected him Sherrif :headshake What a machine.
  11. Dems to Force Election Result Debate I still find it troubling that we have Dems and GOPs in charge of elections. It seems that there needs to be a non-partisan or at least a balanced process in place. Does it really make sense that the head of a party's campaign should be in charge of the election?

  14. QUOTE(JUGGERNAUT @ Jan 5, 2005 -> 11:04 PM) Unbelievable! McVeigh was a child compared to this scum bag. I read all about him. He was bad news. Drugs, beaten people, murder conspiracies, & a major vendetta against the DEA&FBI. Lawyers are out of F'g control! I hope someone in OK protests against this. Call your local officials & complain, complain, complain! Do it so often they get sick to their stomach & change the law there. Would you also limit the amount of money the state spends to convict the accused? Limiting the resources that an innocent poor person has is a great way to get poor people off the streets. Poor, accused of a murder? Just go right to jail. Save us all some money, hell we know you are guilty. Rich, accused of a murder? Hire a legal Dream Team, search for the real killers, and in a few years, attend your college's BCS National Championship Game. Justice, American Style

  16. QUOTE(YASNY @ Jan 6, 2005 -> 03:08 AM) I don't claim any party affiliations other than US citizen. I believe in the GOP stance that gov't works better on the local level. I also believe that the unions need to regain their power base. I hate the fact that the House-Senate-White House are all controlled by the same party. I believe our judicial system needs to swing back to conservatism, but at this point in time that is dangerous with the GOP contolling all other branches of federal gov't. I vehemently distrust both major political parties and don't think either one has the best interests of the US and her citizens at heart. They have the best interests of the party at heart. We NEED a strong moderate ticket to run in '08. I'd bust my ass to get a McCain-Leiberman ticket elected. /\ what he said /\ Thanks YAS, saved me a bunch of typing.

Pisses me off that I can't use any of the cool colored ones or sensitive models. One size fits all my ass. :fyou Condom Company... Anyone else see what he's doing wrong?
