Kennedy donated all of his Senate and Presidential salaries to charity. Is every other politician greedy?

I'll agree with one, not with two. A man has a responsibility to his family. Why should a guy accept less money to stay with a company? Would you want a player who is so uncompetitive he will accept less? Out of loyalty? To the fans? Are these the same fans that have been arguing he isn't worth it? I don't think anyone is greedy in wanting to make more for himself and his family. This by all accounts will be his last big contract, he's setting up his future grandkids and their families. I would want that for my family.

That quote can be applied to every free agent that has ever been. It is very rare, I'm certain there have been a couple, but I cannot think of any, that have resigned with their team after having negotiations broken off and the player a free agent.

Part of the problem is they are drafting high school kids and enticing them to skip college and play pro ball. Sometimes that takes more cash. I've read stories where kids say no, then the team starts offering what sounds like a great deal, the kid has no professional representation, and gets screwed. It certainly isn't all fun and games.

I've been to a few Ranger's games. Don't judge all Ranger fans by this ass hole. We got the loser Liege and his kid, we know how guilt by association hurts. When I watched the tape, I didn't see him so much take the ball away as knock the kid out of the way and dive almost in the kid's mom's lap.
