(in reply to tex) those are good points. i don't think that people who want condoms included are saying ignore abstinance. it's the abstinance people that are saying ignore condoms. yes they should push abstinance foremost, but they should still teach the facts about methods of birth control. including the fact that condoms alone are not 100% effective. you may not want to teach your child to drink safely or responsibly, but i would guess you (not you specifically, a general you) would still tell them that they can always call you if they do drink, and that they should never get in the car with someone who is drinking.

Texas SEX Education = don't have sex. do not mention condoms! Texas DRIVERS Education = don't drive. do not mention seatbelts!

eric helmer is alterity, correct? when i clicked on alterity that name came up. jimh, my thoughts on "alterity" if ya care to hear them. he posted often a while back during some of the heated battles over there. although he claims that he and corg don't get along or don't see eye to eye, something along those lines, the fact remains that alot of people got banned over there while fighting with him while corg was never banned. even though according to the terms of service personal attacks are not allowed nor is impersonating white sox management. so basically even though there were offenses made by corg, that according to strict interpretation of the TOS, he could of been banned for, he NEVER was, not once. yeah, i know anyone can just reregister and continue posting but there was never any public discouragement by the moderators for him to knock it off. i'm not saying they are friendly to each other, but alterity's attitude always seemed to be "corg is corg, what ya gonna do. he won't change". i just always thought that was interesting.

i just wanted to post that i will not be posting in this thread anymore. unless i want to. also want to add that i found out about this site through the mlb board. i was never much of a contributor there, mostly just read. this site is much better for info and discussion. that goes without saying. the mlb board has become corg .com and that is of his doing imo. he gets his jollies from arguing and belittling and the back and forth attacking. he lives for it. the positive is that alot of good posters have come here because of him. i hope that this ends soon with him either admitting his ruse or move on to some other board (not here). maybe some military board or something. base ball and quick, good job. it's about time the truth comes out. p.s. the only thing about this site i think could make it better is if poeple stop the insults. argue the opinion someone makes, not the person. it's easy to respond to someone you strongly disagree with to stfu, you're an idiot. it takes a little more thought to say, i disagree with you and here's why..... i understand this site is made up of a very diverse group of people, all ages all walks of life, and overall everyone is pretty respectful of each other. so kudos to everyone for that.
